Furries are people too. People who enjoy roleplaying as people with animal characteristics.

There's the summary of my thoughts.

I think they indulge in a useless fantasy.

QUOTE
What are furries?

1: An anthropomorphic creature. Something with human characteristics; many of the creatures in the Lion King would be, by this definition, "furries", as they speak English. This also includes things that don't have fur, such as dragons that walk up-right and use tools.
2: The same as above, but restricted to things with fur.
3: Humans with the characteristics of non-human things, such as "cat-girls".
4: People that like to role- or cos-play as such things.
5: A more loose definition of the above, anyone that happens to like furries(by definition 1-3, not necesarily including all, not necesarily excluding 4).

I suppose I should have been more clear and specified that I was referring to both meanings(4&5) when I posted this thread, seeing as the fifth one is a lot less commonly used.

As do anyone that roleplay, or assume any characteristics online that they don't actualy have, intentionaly, and for reasons other than simply decieving a particular person in a particular way.

I like to decieve.

FYI I'm a 6'9" empowered black woman. whistling.gif

Well, never really liked furries, like the play Cats. I'm okay with them if they're in stories, like a faun or some other creature in Chronicles of Narnia. But once I saw this manga thing where the person turns into a cat-like form with ears and a tail, and didn't like that. But I liked the Lion King, too.

Now I'm confuzzled.

Furries suck. They have an "affirmative action" grip on almost any type of kinky thing you find on the internet. No matter what, there ALWAYS has to be a furry version of...

And this is something unique to furries? Huh. Never knew that. Guess you learn something new everday.
EDIT: Oh, and...

It was a semi serious joke.

i was inferring that these kind of people are going to become more and more, and fairly soon the world will be full of nut job's, bringing about a collaps of the curent social values and dictates we live by.

Also . . . Yes! i do need mass imotiocons ranting.gif mad.gif angry.gif .

They make for good fiction, as plain humans can get kinda boring after awhile.

But the people I've seen who get into the whole "furries" thing seriously are almost invariably nutjobs. Sorry but there it is.
