The MLB union agreed on a tougher steroid policy recently. and some other crap.

It is 50 games for a first offence
100 games for second offence and
lifetime ban for a third.

STEROID ARTICLE

So what do you think. Do you think that this is fair? Or do you think that they have the right to do this?

As being an elite level athlete myself, I say ban steroids. They enhance the body in ways imposible through training and the effects don't occur in regular human beings.

It's like cheating for a test, you get to the same or better performance with half the training.

I thin that it's a great movie by Bud Selig (or however u say his name). It seems like the right amount to scare people off. There is some chemicals in medicines that show up positive for steroid tests and weed tests I think. It happened with that CB from the Ravens, I forget his name.

Steroids should be banned obviously, it's cheating and not only does it hurt the league, but it also hurts the players. Steroids is a drug and will cause death if used for long enough.

What makes this topic interesting is that I just recently wrote a paper about steroids for Biology 101.

IMO, the punishment isn't harsh enough. It may give players the option to use new designer drugs, although I think the steroids that are used are already designer drugs.

If you don't know what designer drugs are, they are made to avoid detection during drug tests.

for the first offence it should be banned for life.
Steroids is just like cheating. you are gaining more strenth without putting the hard work into training. this is unfair for those who do not use steroids.

There should be MLB totally free of steroids. then there should be another league that requires steroids... sort of like watching supermen playing sports... that would be interesting to watch.

Give them more steroids. I want to see a guy out there with 500 lbs of muscle, having a heart attack on the feild. Now that's some high quality entertainment.

I think its completely fair. One thing I don't get though is why do you need performance enhancing drugs to hit a ball and run 20 yards and then have a 2 minute break and then run another 20 yards. It might take a lot of skill, but I've never heard of "skill enhancing pills" yet, and if I do, I've lost complete hope in society.
