ok im working on making zer gan almost unbeatable race but i can't get the 2 in 1 egg thing to work every time i run the mod it works fine untill the egg hatchs then it crashes the game. i am also trying to make so the zerg buildings build real quick like 1 - 2 seconds but every time i do this it just gets stuck in the morphing phase w/ the little green progress bar at the very end any suggestion on how to make these work?? beer.gif
ohh yes one more thing how do you edit the speed of the unit?? im completly lost on that...

#1. I think you just check 2 in 1 egg in the advanced settings (using Arsenal III)

#2. if you edited images.dat then deleat your modified images.dat file cause Arsenal III corrupts it causing build errors and if that doesnt fix it you could always set it to about 10 seconds to see if it works

#3. you can either try the way in the post above or you can do it the easier (and quicker) way where you edit a units speed and acceleration in Arsenal III (speed is how fast it goes when its fully running(higher number = faster), acceleration is how long it takes the unit to get to full running speed(higher number = faster)

1)Arsenal3-Unit Editor-(the unit you want, must be zerg)-Advanced tab-check the flag 2 units in one egg.
2)I don't now how to make that.
3)What program you use for that?If it is ICE folow the tutorial that Silver-Dragon link to you,if you are using IceCC modify the move command on the unit movement animation, also there are some units that use flingy acceleration to make them use script acceleration modifying the flingy.dat with arsenal 3.

It has to do with the birth animation. Set the birth animation for the Ultralisk to Scourge Birth or Zergling Birth. Not sure why though... they use the same iscript. unsure.gif

And the building thing is a bug from patch 1.11 http://www.blizzforums.com/showthread.php?t=39998

As TERRAINFIGHTER said, the only way is to make it longer.

Err...that doesn't work for me. I'm just using ICE (since ICECC won't work for some reason), and I set the offset for the Ultralisk Initial Animation to the Zergling Initial Animation. Then, in DatEdit--well prepared for some bugs when I ran the mod--I checked the "2 in 1 egg". Starcraft proceeded to die in a blaze of glory when I ran it. Any ideas on why?

EDIT: Zerglings don't do this, so it's not DatEdit corrupting the 2 in 1 thing with its unfortunate unit height problem.

Just set the construct animation to Zergling Birth in a .dat editor. I'm not sure what makes Zergling/Scourge birth different, but it works.

Heres an exactly what u do--> go into arsenal III--> find the unit u want 2 in 1--> go to graphics--> change birth animation to zergling or scourge.

Quite easy

its very simple, under units editor with arsenal 3, go to the last tab, and set the birth to zergling. it always works for me happy.gif

ice sucks!! use ICECC and read the goddam readme, it was made for problems like this.

Installation

To run the graphical version of IceCC (IceCCUI.jar), you will need a Java Runtime Environment version 1.2
or greater. You can get it from Sun here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/download−windows.html. Make sure that
the ’java’ family of programs was added to your PATH (which is automatically done by the Sun installer, but may
not have worked if your computer crashed during installation or something weird). This is almost surely the
problem if you are having problems running IceCCUI.
