ADDITION:
ok i thought of another 1... planting the bomb.. itd b 8 player and thered b certain teams u can choose from, for example a firebat, archon and scv could be a team.

The Commodore 64 game Castle Wolfenstein has some good gameplay. You have to escape from prison while stealing the secret documents. The level is always randomly generated, with items in chests in strange areas and you have to pick keys and ammo off of dead bodies. But you had to trade your gun with an enemy gun to get more ammo, though...

It takes X seconds to open treasure boxes. You 'll have to stand there for 2-3 minutes sometimes while you try to lockpick it.

That's my suggestion. A Castle Wolfenstein type game.

Make something random with triggers? simple. Put what you want into switches and randomize the switches. There is a tutorial on this.

To trade guns it'd have to be like you control a marine. You face and kill a ghost. Ghost dies and some resource (crystal etc), would take his place. Then you just touch the crystal and you turn into the ghost. Obviuosly you want to be stronger than your enemies so you might make him turn into a hero ghost.

but if that was for more ammo itd b pointless really. marines, and ghosts and every1 cant run out of ammo, and im pretty sure u cant make them confused.gif
so wut would be the point of taking an enemys weapon(if its crappier).

this sounds like a wierd and complicated map... does any1 support the idea of a simple oldschool map like ctf or plant the bomb or most kills or somthing?

Well for ammo you could try to incorporate the "Realistic ammo system" http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=4366 which might be a bit complicated to put into an actual scenario.

Plant the bomb might be a good idea. Or maybe something like counter-strike where there are terrorists and counter-terrorists and the counter-terrorists have to find the hostages and/or disarm the bomb before the time limit or getting killed. And there can be a couple of rounds. And it would be pretty easy to get the wav file for saying "Counter-terrorists win".

Training maps.

People are always complaining that they're newbs at maps, or people are callnig people noobs.

Just make a training map. A simpler one player version of defences with step by step instructions to become a pro.

I made a training map once, I spent long hours discovering strategical secrets against computer opponents. (Not a micro map! More like a trick map, but with computer A.I.) I was only able to complete 5 levels out of 12 I needed to fill the map though. pinch.gif

Granted, your talking about something different.
