Can anyone explain to me WTH Rp is in starcraft. I know it stands for RolePlaying but what the heck do you do. Do u pretend you are jim raynor and buy a burrito at the Academy (which is really the Fire and Spice Grill)? I've joined a couple to try to figure it out but all I've learned is that people get really mad when you make a comsat station and scan their base a bunch of times (funny stuff) and that wwcd means wall water cave door.

It's when you use SC characters and try to make something along the lines of a Final Fantasy story (Hence the Names). Your not suppose to mass or make a comsat station, and if you know people get mad when you do it, don't be a stupid doo doo head and stop.
EDIT: Doo Doo Head? Who the hell thought of that in replacement of J*ckass?

How I play Starcraft RP:
Chose a unit that you want to be your main character.
Build yourself a house, city or something.
Make an enemy and a hostile area (this may be other players or the computer).
Try to beat the evil together with your allies (if you got any
).
Also act like you are your character
Have Fun

Basically, you are supposed to play a role in the game, without being stupid like upgrading everything to the max, and massing units. The 'water wall cave door' rule, means that you aren't supposed to have a boat float on land, or dragons flying through walls and so on. It's sort of like Dungeons and Dragons just everyone is the dungeon master at the same time.

Doesnt the name explain it to you already? I heard even 5 year olds could roleplay with a robot toy on right hand and another action figure on the left hand.
You're supposed to roleplay in that game. Say that guys your main char, well we'll say we named him Bob. Bob acts as some person. Try and be not retarded.

Basically what every1 said above me is true but u need somethings to know how to have fun
Rping needs some ingedients:
1) a hero or a few to get things happening
2) towns, cities dungeons for where it happens
3) a good map with varied terrain to help trigger ideas
and last but not least....
4) Creativity to make almost anything happen in an rp

Yes well i make rps so... here is what you need to do to have a good rp:
1. Dont play with noobs
2. Follor rule 1
3. DONT FORGET TO FOLLOW RULE 1!!!!
4. Create you own story that interlocks with other players
5. you may sometimes have to alter your story to fit those of others
6. ban noobs
7. use parenthasese... these things: ( ) when roleplaying
8. usually public rps are filled with noobs... thats why you must make friends with good RPers
9. RPs may get boring after a few hours of playing the same game
10. It takes practice to become good at RPing
11. I Pwn play my maps (they use revolutionary MC Tech)
Do not forget the teachings of the great creator

i'd go with volcove more over, but anyway he opposes the revolutionary MC tech WHICH WAS OUT WAY BEFORE THD ( trigger happy defense )
