I seen this commertial and it stated that blood is in you to give, but then i thought wtf i just finished learning that blood is the source of life in humans in which if we didnt have our cells wouldent have oxygen and etc. etc.. I belive a new slogan would be appropriate, post your slogans here.

I was thinking about that a long time ago but I was just being dumb, I knew they mean it another way. Their slogan is good enough.
When you donate, you get a sticker saying "Be nice to me, I just donated blood" and you can bother everyone and they can't do anything!

Think I'm like A something... and no I wouldnt donate, i dont like needles and it's my blood...not to mention I'd be afraid of catching some blood disease by some offchance...cookies, stickers? I dont need no stickers...
if I wasnt so quesy and crap maybe, but now definitely not...Im not letting em stick needles in me withought needing it.

WHAT i want a sticker, i should call my local blood institute and wait i forgot about the dreaded NEEDLE and, the worst of all, THE WAY THEY ALL LOOK AT YOU WHEN YOU COME OUT! And how they are so unnatrualy happy, seems suspisious to me...

It is quite nasty though. I remember when I was small, I went to the clinic and I saw them stick needles in my dads arm and fill it up with blood. But I think you need to be a legal adult before you can donate. I used to be scared of needles but now I don't really care anymore because it only hurts a tiny bit and then no more (excluding the aftermath of the needle).

Uh dude...blood dies and then moves out of your body. Its mainly sugars. So it is there to give, because you can grow more fast enough. Other people who are fatally wounded obviously can't.

That's O, which is actually the most common. The rarest is AB, which can get from A, B, AB, or O, but can only give to AB.

Apparently I can't donate blood. I lived in England during the mad cow disease scare, and no clinic will let my family donate.

I doubt that I have the disease as well... however, the hospitals don't want to take the chance. Which is sort of understandable... even though I think if I had it I would have noticed by now...

And no, I wouldn't donate blood. A friend of mine that runs track with me donated blood and couldn't run for 2 weeks. He was so weak after it. The amount of blood they take out is just to large for an athlete to function properly. That month he was pretty slow for what he usually does, the time to recover all that blood is too much.

there are more blood types that i cannot remember i remember reading somewhere thats theres like X and Y and Z blood types found in african tribes or soemthing that is about .01%
