I've been considered by my peers a "Helpless Romantic", though some could say "Hopeless", I don't know, but here it is of my childhood friend...
We were children when we met
Memories of you I have kept
A long time- years it's been
I don't remember exactly when
But I remember the girl with which I napped
And the moment my shoulder was gently tapped
It was you and I was glad
The memories of that day we had...
I wonder if you remember me-
Wonder where you are and might you be
Do you remember what you said?
In that kindergarten, on that bed?
It was not the best children could do
But it was alright because it was you
If only I could see you once again...
Under the sun... or under the rain?
Wrote it sometime back, thought I'd try to get myself to writ again
I have heard that poem before elsewhere.
I am kind of gorwing a little skeptical of this literatary work you have displayed.
I will come back if you have stolen this. If it isn't, then you have a great talent.
