I just wanted to know if you guys really belong in this community as overall.. Yea im pretty sure majority is going to pick the second choice, but just to make sure, if there are any other people out there loving other games as well.

Oh yea, and if there are other versions of Warcraft, Im so sorry because i really dont know much about Warcraft....

I don't play it anymore/for now but I choose Starcraft because I used to play it. The other ones I've played but I don't like it that much, must stick with Starcraft.

They're all awesome.
And if you can afford to separate SC and SC:BW, and D2 and D2:LoD, then at least put WC3 and WoW, because they are entirely different genres.

Meh, you forgot Dablo 1 + expansion, Warcraft 1 and 2 and WoW. And Blizz have also made some Game Boy games I think.
Anyway, I voted Starcraft Brood War, off course. But I also like WoW a lot. I used to play some D2 LoD, but I'm tired of it.

Hell no, the poll was dumb because it included the games that dont exist yet <_< lol. I voted all, I can't hate any of them they rule!

I didn't even add World of WarCraft: The Burning Crusade (which isn't out yet) nor the Lost Vikings II (Which is out).

Ghost exists, in a perpetual state of production. So does every other game on that poll.

Hmm...Starcraft Brood War? Hmm.... Thats kind of a weird vote, huh..? I mean, we're on "Staredit.net", who the hell would like Starcraft on "Staredit.net"?

Looking at that poll I noticed it was in order of age. I know it was kept out of the poll but I'm just wondering, where does Starcraft and SC:BW fit in that list?

ADDITION:
bump

I asked a legitamate question. And it still hasn't been answered. In the old poll where does SC and SC:BW fit in that timescale?

[center]You're taking a poll at a forum dedicated to Starcraft, what did you expect the results to be?
Mine's SC, though I don't play much anymore.

I really like SC, WC3, and WoW. I never got into Diablo much. I LOOOOVE the story of the single player modes on both SC and WC3 (I've played through all the campaigns on both games 4 or 5 times). I also like how much you can customize scenarios on those games.

WoW is a very very good game, I've played it a lot, but in terms of things I like (strong story and the map editors) I'd have to say I don't like it quite as much as SC and WC3. And due to the nostalgia factor and my natural inclination to like space and science fiction more than Tolkien types of fantasy, Starcraft all the way.

Long story short, I voted for SC! biggrin.gif

Excellent response. Lengthy and tells WHY you like the choices you made, which, in this case, is the plot.

I like RTS because the AI, or at least opponents play intelligently and the amount of units allows games to NEVER play repetitively. Starcraft plays too fast for me and I hate games where I must master execution to be any good, when strategy games are about CHOICES you make.

Look at chess. This game has 0 skill needed in execution, as in physically moving the pieces. Choosing what to move however, IS what determines player skill.

I like War3 because this execution bar is significantly lowered from SC, yet it retains strategy and even more complexity than SC, though the races are similar.

Mainly everyone is changing to World Of Warcraft because of all the peopel starting to play it every since it came out. Now because of the huge community, Most Blizzard fans play World Of Warcraft more often and less Starcraft, Warcraft III, or Diablo II. But 100,000 players on Battle.Net at the same time on weekdays help in a way, At least Starcraft is still going on. As long as it is still beign palyed, it is not dying.

We SENers will fight to the end!

I gave up WoW and returned to my Starcraft roots. WoW will consume your life! It has taken over my brother's! Live by my example!
