Well I didn't find it funny even though I saw the movie. They just made the movie look like a good family film about some kid who needs a dad and a dad who needs "inspiration". No more horror movie

Yeah, I did see the movie, and that was pitiful. I didnt laugh one bit. They did do a good job on making it look like a family film, but thats not funny.

I guess I found it really funny because I saw the movie and the first time I saw that clip I had just finished reading the book for the first time like a 1/2 hour ago. I think it's funny because of the irony, in the movie Jack Nicholson is chasing his son through the halls of the Overlook with an axe, and whoever made this did such a good job of making it look like a feel good movie.
