Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> layer multiple minerals?

i want to layer minerals one on top of the other. however it is a pain having to click one on top of the other a million times. so im wondering if there is a quicker and easier way to do this. like just type in a number that specifies how many minerals are on top of each other. if anyone has any advice on how to do this in scmdraft i would really appreciate your helpsmilie.gif!!!

There isnt another way, only the way you know of it. Just use starforge if you want to type how many get stacked

Copy and paste on top of it. Then you can go by powers of 2.
1
2
4
8
16
32
64
128
256
512
1024
etc.

after copy pasting 2, they dont snap to the grid.

...because after copy/pasting more than one unit, the program can't tell which unit to snap to grid (granted you could put a check for it being the same unit such as in this case, but that's just overkill).

So, there still isnt a good way with SCMD2

Basically, yes.

...that is, until the new version comes out. That's one of the planned features albeit it's nothing new.

Just make a 2x1 square of land around water and turn off "allow place units anywhere" in the options or something like that. Then finish up the terrain.

Simply use starforge to solve your little problem, scmdraft isn't that great of an editor.

Um... if you discount the fact that this is the only feature it lacks (and boasts a lot more features in general... as well as being more stable/clean, having better compatibility with SCXE, blah blah blah), I guess you could say that.

...but yes, you are right in terms of autostack. If you want to use it, use SF to do it (Legacy's way only complicates things).

If you mean by triggers, I'm almost sure that can be done with any editor.
