Staredit Network -> SCMDraft -> Where does it save the diagnostic files

Hey, I've crashed SCMDraft so many times but I don't bother saving the diagnostic files because I can never find them. So, where does it save them because I could be reporting a million different bugs.

Those things aren't very useful, it's much better if you just report what you were doing at the time of the crash to SI (or to that bug site on STCF).

Btw, I've tried hard to crash the latest SCMD2 and never managed to. You must be very lucky tongue.gif .

Easy crash: Go to sprites->Zerg Egg

There you go. Easy crash

Um. What? Works perfectly for me. In fact, it works in beta 0.6.0, 0.5.5 ("latest stable release"), beta 0.5.5, and 0.4.5 (haven't tried earlier versions).

I told you SCMD2 is not easy to crash (you probably had either some very weird condition for it to crash, or something else being the cause).

If you make a sprite that goes at the edge of the map when creating it, the editor says something bad happens and shuts down the program without allowing you to save.

This also works fine for me. Does this happen every time you do it? What's your version?

Once again, no crash for me.

I crash the TrigEdit just about everyday.

You know, instead of just saying that, how about you give specific examples and possibly bugs so that SI could track it down?

...not to mention give us the version you're using, etc.

Well, I'm using the latest version, it doesn't find any updates. Thats kind of the problem, I'm not sure what I did. Sometimes it's when I go to edit a trigger, I crash. Ill pay more attention to what I do before I crash and post it here I guess.

See my trick is when it says "something bad has happen" [ ok ] [cancel?]
when you click Ok, it crashes right,, but because of my uber laggy computer, i can click Ok and click save !! Then after it crashes,, i check the map. It saves! wooot

You don't even need to do that, it allows you to save it unless you are in TrigEdit I think. Just click on the save button like normal.
