I have been fooling around with this for a while now and I don't Have any ideas for it. I need to make it when the vulture places a spider mine 50 are placed in a location that is folloing the unit. I can only get it to do it once.

You'd have to do something like have a condition when it is placed to a certain amount of Death Counts for something like Minerals, and centre view on the spider mine, and create 1 spider mine, and have a wait trigger, for a small amount of time, also adding 1 to the amount of Minerals, and have it Preserved, so it will repeat 50 times, waiting to place them all...So it has time to place them after the problem of placing themselves in the ground!

Is it okay if the mines are given to another player ?

I think it is the problem with them moving to the side, u'll have to wait till they are planted...set the wait by that!

The have to be given to another player. Else when you lay 50, those mines will spawn another 50. Either have it only done once, or given to another player. The only way, unless you don't give Vultures mines at all and just have them cast it as a spell/special.

No, having a child at age 12 is the biggest mistake in your life!

How can you have a child at age 12??? isn't it kinda impossible then?

But anyway on this subject of spider mines that is when a spider mine attacks and successfully explodes itself killing stuff does it add a point to the death score of spider mines?

No its not impossable thats around the time that many kids go though puberty. More so with girls.

Interesting question about spider mines lol.

I created a test map and a Spider Mine explosion doesn't add to it's death count. I surrounded 4 Lurkers in a grid of mines and the total deaths of the Mines was zero.

It makes since, proboly the same with scourges, infested terains, and scarbs.

If you didn't know death points are also not added if the unit is killed via trigger. I guess it has must be a result of another unit killing it. So therefore wherever there is a death count there is a kill count.

You could try placing a small location over the Vulture, condition: bring exactly 1 mine.

Or give placed mine (exactly 1) @ vulture location to computer, center another small location on the comp's mine to check if there are other mines (current player) nearby, so corner mines will not place 50 more mines.

Technically that is incorrect, there are many ways to get around from being ipbanned.

Of course, but he was obviously using it from his primary source of internet wink.gif

Still.. though.. im pretty sure there is away around it even if you have the primary ISP blocked.

If the guy is lucky enough to have a dynamic ip then it can easily be avoided. Also, it only costs $20 (U.S) to get a new ip. But there are better ways around the cash. It's actually really easy to get around the ipban. I have been banned from diabloii.net forums, at first I didn't really care....the mods were being stupid. I replyed to a topic with information about how easy dupes could be made and why people can dupe, not saying exactly how to do it, just stating that I knew how to do it and the censored.gif banned me! But the forum was part of some big network of forums and stopped me from posting on battleforums. So I read up on it and 'hacked' my way back into it.

O, I figured out how I will use the spider mines too. I set it on a timer. Once the player plants his first mine he has 20 seconds to move to the next location where he wants them. It's not the best solution but it will work.

There's really no hacking required just a basic knowledge of CGI and/or PROXIES.

Of course, but if he comes back excessively I can contact his ISP wink.gif
