I was wondering who else here plays an instrument or two and what type of music they play.
I play Saxophone (in Concert Band alto and Jazz Band bari) and I'm picking up bass clarinet for marching band.

I paly trumpet in marhcing band/ concert band/next year jazz lab.
Jazz lab = for people who tryout but don't make it into Jazz Band at my school, and since it would be my first year of jazz, i would need lots and lots of luck to make it into jazz band.

yeah, I'm only in the top Jazz Ensemble (we have three!) because no one else wanted to play bari sax -_-;

Sorry. I'm a brass player, so I have to be load and obnoxious. It's some kind of law...(like the fact that the horns always suck...or that percussionists are always airheads...)
I play in every single band that my school offers (an unfortunately low amount), as well as playing in the MYO (Mississauga Youth Orchestra: Composed of the best players my age in the city).
List of "Achievements"(ie, famous pieces): Dvorak's 9th (New World Symphony); Star Wars (not a crappy band arangement, the real thing!), Nutcracker Suite.

our marching band next year has two drum majors...and they are both tromboners...(pun intended. hehe) we are going to DIE
not that I'm really complaining, saxophone is the easiest instrument to play ever! When was the last time you heard someone diss a saxophone? huh? huh?

Yeah, it's the way we sit when we're not playing!
And I have heard someone diss saxes...my conductor says that they're not real instruments, which is about as worse a diss as you can get....
...not that I think that, of course...

well, I guess I can almost see why he thinks (wrongly
) that way. I mean, we aren't accepted into most philharmonic orchestras and all because the sound is so unique and all and the sax is pretty new comparatively speaking.

Yeah i remember, got a few of their albums, have to be the best band ever, The Model is my favourite.
