Is there anyway I can make a lifting bunker? I already have the graphics.

there might be put im guessing you would have to do some editing of the iscript.bin file

You would also have to use memgraft to add a lift and land button, then edit the .dat files to make sure they support it

Yeah, I'm curious what will happen if you have a fully loaded bunker when it lifts off... maybe a flying defense platform! biggrin.gif

*loads the bunker with 4 marines, lifts the bunker, flys around with a mobile flying turret of doom.* Muahahaha!

Man, make it as fast as possible! I wanna play around with it all day. I still have fun playing with normal liftable buildings, im sure bunkers would just make my day.

Aww... I tried it out. It loads and lifts off beautifully, but as soon as you lift off, the marines inside won't attack anything. They don't attack anything even when you land again. It looks like the lifting off screws with the loaded units' detection and/or attack routines. angry.gif

Seems we overlooked a small factor, in mapmaking theres a trick to where you can move a bunker and its marines keep attacking at the place you moved it from

I guess its the same if you lift off and move the bunker tongue.gif

I'm fairly new to iscripting, so bear with me some, but does the bunker work like a typical attacking building or unit, wherein you'd only need an attack air script, or is it hardwired into the game's code itself?

The attack for the bunker is hardcoded into the games code (causes the bug I talked about in the post before yours)

I understand now. That would have been pretty cool, though. But, since the code is hardwired into the game itself, I guess it's not possible to just create a new unit that does what the bunker does, huh?

I have no farking clue how to mess wiht iscripts! Im only good ar ARSENAL III and graphics and memgraph. The new button wont show up though all compile the GRP and post it later on.

ADDITION:
Well, guess not! When I compile it there is only the 2 files not the five for the lifting here is a file with the graphics.

i think that happen reason is Ai not exist that unit's conditon
or when buker flying then become ai/order is not current bunker guard

that is just my guessing, but worth to consult my view
