yeah well when i try to take screen shots of starcraft while not in game Ex. movies and the menu screen it does not take the screen shot. what i get is a very bad image that has the colors and lighting all screwed up. i am wondering how to overcome this so i may take screens for sigs and stuff. can anyone help me maybe by configuring starcraft or a 3rd party program?

You can't paste the screenshot into paint like normal. Instead, when you take a screenshot it automatically saves a screenshot file in your starcraft folder. Look for it and you can open it with microsoft picture viewer or whatever else can view PCX files. PCX files are uselss though and I hate them so you have 2 options:

1. Either get a PCX -> JPG/GIF converter (http://www.filetrial.com/convert/pcx.html)

OR

2. Open the file with microsoft piture viewer and take a screenshot of THAT. Then do the normal paste into paint, etc.

no dude im not talking about in game im talking about out of game. try take a screenshot out of game like in a movie or in the single player choice menu. it becomes screwed up.
