Well, new 1.11 hacks are arising and we need to counter them.

This thread was made for:

Reporting a Hack - Report a new hack(without giving the hack name, just what it does) that is not listed. The hack must be a working 1.11b hack or it would be useless.

Creating Counter-Hacks - Find ways to counter the hacks that are listed. Submit an anti-hack technique.

Or, giving any other relevant information.

This first thread will be updated according to what people post.



1.11b Hack List


Kill unit - Allows a player to select a unit of HIS OWN and hit a button to
║instantly kill it. This also kills invincible units as well.


Name Spoofer with colours - Allows the hacker to change his name to
║whatever he wants. If colour is used, the name quickly changes back to it's
║original state and that player is ipbanned once he leaves the game or finishes it.
║Without colours, the player has a tad bit less chance of being ipbanned because
║if he resets his name before the games ends, he will not be ipbanned.


Lag Defender - Allows you to talk and use options while the lag box is up.


Download Status Hack - Allows you to see download status even if it is at
║0 or 100 percent.


Game/Lobby Chat Colours - Allows the player to chat using different
║colours in his text by typing different symbols. The hacker can also align or
║stack his text in different ways and even skip lines and make it look like other
║players have typed the message.


Minimap Allied Colors Hack - Colour-codes units on the minimap to show
║who is allied/allied vic., allied without allied vic., and enemy.


Fog Hack(with anti-hack protection ++) - It's LIKE a map hack and it
║works for 1.11b. I call it fog hack since it doesn't show units outside your view
║range, but you can click on them(click on something invisible). The 1.11 anti-
║map hack does not stop this.


Ping Hack - When you build a building or unit, it does a ping on the
║minimap. This shows the pings of all players in the game(revealing enemy unit
║locations), and also plays the sound of what the enemy built.


Map Hack - Gives a player vision of the whole map.

║====>3 state - Map hack addon gives the map hack 3 states to it; Map
║hack off(Turns the map hack off), Map hack lite(Is like you explored the whole
║map, but has fog of war over it. You can see units and click on them too.), Map
║hack full(Full map hack. Vision to everything.).

║====>Anti-Hack Protection - Another map hack addon that allows the
║player to view many units that would normally crash Starcraft without crashing
║themselves.


Crash Hack Protection/Detection - Doesn't matter what it is, it's still a
║hack. Self-explanitory.


Enemy Selection Hack - Allows the hacker to select multiple enemy units,
║see enemy pylon range, see what units are being built in enemy buildings, see
║what units are in bunkers, see what units are in transports, and I think you get
║the idea of the other things it would be able to do. You will also see the
║options/commands/buttons of enemy units and be able to click on them, but it
║will not do anything.





1.11 Hack List



Stack Hack - Allows a player to unvision himself to let him "Stack" on top
║of previously built buildings or units.

║====>Creep Hack - An addon to the stack hack which allows you to
║stack on top of creep and other invalid terrain.


SCV Repair Hack - Allows the SCV to repair any damaged terran unit,
║including organic units.


Map Hack - Gives a player vision of the whole map.

║====>3 state - Map hack addon gives the map hack 3 states to it; Map
║hack off(Turns the map hack off), Map hack lite(Is like you explored the whole
║map, but has fog of war over it. You can see units and click on them too.), Map
║hack full(Full map hack. Vision to everything.).

║====>Anti-Hack Protection - Another map hack addon that allows the
║player to view many units that would normally crash Starcraft without crashing
║themselves.


Stat Hack - Allows the player to view other players' resources and unit
║count.


Ally Alert - Alerts the player, telling him who is allied and who is unallied
║with him, as well as allied victory.

║====>Auto Unally - Addon for Ally Alert, auto unallys a player if a
║certain
║event occurs.(Forget what it is)


Unit Alert - Alerts the player if other players acquire certain units.


Stack Hack Detection\
In-Game Timer - Doesn't matter what it is, it's still a hack. Self-
║explanitory.
Crash Hack Protection/Detection/


Stay Alive Hack - Allows the player to remain in the game after he is
║defeated.





1.11 and 1.11b Anti-Hack List and Methods




Map Hack and 3-state map hack - Place a unit that crashes Starcraft in an
║area that can not be viewed normally during the game, an example of this is On
║top of a cliff or in the middle of a large body of water.This doesn't actually
║detect map hack. But if the player with maphack/blacksheepwall looks at that
║area, starcraft crashes.

║Examples of units that Crash Starcraft when veiwed are: Independant command
║center, SCV when disabled, Arbitor when disabled, Turret when disabled, and
║many more.


Map Hack, 3-state, and Anti-Hack Protection - For this, you need
║Starforge. Go into the sprites layer and place any sprite. Change the box to
║where it says "Sprite:____" and make it 12. Uncheck the "Draw as Sprite" box
║and check the "Disabled??" box. There you go. Even if a "Lite map hack" is
║used, it will crash when it sees this unit.
║Note: Sprite 12 is unstable, so I will find a better one.
║MAKE SURE YOU PLACE THE UNIT IN AN AREA PLAYERS CAN NOT NORMALLY
║VIEW!

║An effective way to use it is to place all players' start locations right where the
║crash would be if you had vision to that area. Most hack users do not turn off
║their hacks after every game, making them vulnerable.

║A good strategy is to place this all over the map and put a big location over
║every one. Although I haven't tested this, it may work. Make it so when a unit
║enters the location, it removes the crashing unit. I just thought of an advanced
║way to handle this as well. Resize your map so you have an area on the side
║that players can not go to, add the units there, make big locations spread all
║over your map, and "When -player- brings 0 units to -location on playing field-,
║move -crashing unit- from -location off the playing field- to -location on the
║playing field-". And just do the opposite when a player brings a unit there. Enjoy!

║Note2: Before all of you say a disabled SCV is better or something, you're
║wrong. Hackers are attempting to make a map hack that will not crash with the
║SCV, and possibly other units. With the sprite method, it is possible to
║get "Units" that are not even in Starcraft's database.


Ally Alert and Auto Unally - To have computer players or unused players
║(That are in the range 1-8) continually allying, allying victory, unallying every
║player with the following triggers:

║Set -player- to ally
║wait 5 millisecond
║set -player- to allied vic
║wait 5 milliseconds
║set -player- to enemy
║wait 5 milliseconds
║.........(^--Continue the above about 5 times for good stuff )
║Preserve trigger

║(low hyper trigger count optional)

║He will then become flooded with tons of messages saying "Player # has allied
║you" etc. and will be forced to shut down his ally alert.
║Note: This only works with the Ally Alert that gives the hacker a message of
║alliance.



Stack Hack and Creep hack - [METHOD 1] This is very simple. This may
║not work with all stack hacks, but it works with the current popular one. Well
║anyway, you can simply have under every player the following trigger:
║PLAYERS: -Player-
║CONDITIONS: Always
║ACTIONS: Execute AI script Turn on Shared Vision for -Player-
║Preserve trigger

║(Hyper triggers optional)

║[METHOD 2] This is a different way, if the other one doesn't work, or you have a
║certain type of map. Place map revealers for a computer player all over the
║place and have the computer player vision the human player. The human player
║will not be able to stack because of the computer player's vision.

║[METHOD 3] This is a more strategic way, which is to have 2 squares of terrain,
║close to each other so they are visable to units on opposite squares(but not
║touching each other), and have it surrounded by water/space/null terrain or
║something. Place a marine on one square for the player, and have a trigger
║always create enemy spider mines with a wait time in the other square. Then
║have another trigger execute when 2 or more spider mines are in the other
║square to alert all other players that someone is stacking. This works because
║when a player has unvisioned himself, his units do not normally attack since the
║player no longer has sight of that area.


Stay Alive Hack - When the player is suppose to end in defeat, have a
║wait after the trigger giving the player enough time to get out(Maybe wait 12500
║milliseconds) then give the player vision to a certain area that can not normally
║be viewed by players that will crash the game while moving the player's screen
║there as well.


Unit Alerts - It has come to my understanding it only alerts the player for
║the first time another player receives a certain unit. All you have to do is have
║triggers create the following units once, wait for about 200 milliseconds, then
║kill/remove them.
║-Dark Templar
║-Reaver
║-Battlecruiser
║-Carrier
║-Arbiter
║-Guardian
║-Lurker
║-A LOADED nuclear silo(You can do this by placing it first in the map owned by a
║computer player and use triggers ordering the computer player to load them
║with nukes, then give the silos owned by the computer player to human players)
║(I don't know if it will work if you preplace a nuke)


Game/Lobby Chat colours - Other players are warned when message is
║sent. tongue.gif


Stack Hack Detection - Have a computer player keep visioning and
║unvisioning itself repeatedly with triggers. This will flood the hacker's screen like
║the anti-ally alert.


Fog hack - This may not be the best anti-hack, but it's better than
║nothing. Since the fog hack does not display units that will crash the game, you
║will have to make the idiot select something he does see. Place something
║interesting, that the player would love to just click on, and change the hp to a
║negative number in unit settings. Next, place the unit as a sprite-unit so that the
║hp will be like 100/-2000. Now at the beginning of the game, give all players
║vision of it, then take that vision away. Since the hacker can already see it, and
║if he clicks on it, the game will crash for him.
║Note: The unit must be a building/something that shows in the fog of war when
║you have no vision of that area.





Replay Hack Checking




Stack Hack - You will be able to see when a player stacks.

║=====>Creep hack - You will know when you see a zerg building off the
║creep, other players building on creep, or players building/landing on invalid
║terrain.


Stay Alive Hack - You will know when you see the "Player has been
║defeated" message but the player does not leave the game.


Map Hack and 3-state map hack - You will know if a player has clicked on
║a unit outside of his legal view range.


SCV Repair Hack - You will know when you see an SCV repair any
║organic unit.


Name Spoofer with colours - You will know when you see colours in a
║name or if you see any illegal characters(illegal characters that were illegal
║since Starcraft came out).


Kill unit - You will know if units just die without being attacked.






Now you people, submit some stuff I can add.

Lite: has the fog of war thats there when you have been there before but it is all over the map and you see every thing thats there

full: there is no fog of war

Why not let blizzard do what they're best at and thats banning users that actually use these hacks.

I mean if u want to make a map that's totally anti hacks then it will come with a cost. It may be small but it's not worth the effort to try to counter every single thing. I dunno why ppl use hacks, but i know there's a sensation to beat a map w/o using any tricks or hacks. It's like a glitch in the map that helps u win, one shouldn't feel all mighty because they used such a glitch to win.

Anyways, I myself do not use hacks and i apologize that i can't add new types of hacks to your list. But i think it would be better if u added the following to the countering staying alive hack. After a player ends in defeat and enough time is given for the player to leave give him vision and then move the screen to the location that only he/she will be able to see and therefore crash. It just protects the innocent player(s) if they accidently go to the spot.

cause people that hack don’t mind that much that the account got banned cause they just make a new one, and it takes along time for blizzard to find the people, take it from me I use to hack but not any more, I play for over 6 months with out getting banned once

thats why its a good idea to make the maps hack proof so the hackers will run out of maps to play and they will ether quit or stop hacking

They only ban excessive hack users, and some hacks aren't detected even.

Besides, isn't it better to scare gamers out of using hacks in the first place by placing anti hack things inside of our maps?

Blizzard cannot detect any map hacks, stack hacks, or really any hacks in that list. It is up to the player to submit proof to Blizzard. But, sending proof is not enough. There are too many hackers and they keep coming back too. It's time to force anti-hacks into maps. There is not much trouble adding the anti-hacks either. Just a few more triggers and a couple locations. Who are you hurting? Hackers. tongue.gif

It is worth the effort because there is not too much effort to put in. Think of the children. xD

are you sure about that, because when i hacked(i don't any more just so you know) and i got banned my bother got banned and my friend got banned at the same time(we had are own little circle of hack users), and we were pretty good at hiding the fact that we hacked, so i don't know of any way some one would have found out about us at the same time unless it was B.Net

You must have used an older hack. Because if you dropped or whatever, (which can't happen unless you use some kind of useless hack) you must have done something else. Besides, this isn't "Hack help support" this is suppose to be the ultimate anti-hacking thread. :l

with this new patch it will drop you if you are useing a hack, well it did with the hack i was testing with, it crashes SC if you join a game and if you try to make a game it says the map is a invalid map i dont know about opening the hack in a game, i will try that right now

i just tryed opening the hack whille in game and it crashed me

Blizzard usually finds hackers by way of replays. If someone sends them a replay of someone hacking, Blizzard will mute the offending account. You're pretty safe if you only hack during UMS, because that doesn't effect tournaments and stuff. However, if you're playing a ladder game people will get pissed about it and send Blizzard the replay. Replay files can also be "scanned" for "wrong clicks" or "suspicious actions". That is, you can detect whether or not someone has clicked on a unit they shouldn't have been able to see. It has something to do with the way Fog of War is set up - if you click it without actually being able to legally see it, you're a hacker.

Why not just never hack? Then you wouldn't have to deal with this crap.

maybe thats whas it... we mostly played UMS but sometimes we played melee
but im still wondering how we all got banned at the same time, maybe blizzard looked at all of them the same day

*sigh* Whenever we leave it up to Blizzard to clean Battle.Net of hacks, it leads to them trying to destroy all the bots too. The bots had NOTHING to do with hacking, it's just that they felt like it was an infringement on their IP. However, it's the same group of Blizzard employees is trying to take care of the bots as the group that's trying to take care of the hacks.

UMS hacking isn't such a big deal, just on certain maps where vision (or anything else affected by the hack that's being used) is crucial.

ya i found one.

during a melee with my us-west profile i has on a 1v1 and he sent 1 marine to attack me. but none of my units would attack him! so i clicked the guy and he was invice!

Are you sure this was melee?? Because an invincible marine sounds wrong and UMS like though... there was the invincible drone trick long before... So it may be true or false... Though like DK said, care to show a map replay?

well currently for 1.11b its actually no hacks that lets you cheat so why is it a problem?
i dont see why removing the lagg screen letting u see 0 and 100% dl and colored allies is anything else than positive..

btw 1.11b sucks cus now its no longer possible to stack zerg buildings on ums defence maps,

and gnome a few times now they have closed down massive amounts of b.net accounts (they close them all at the same time)

On the contrary, there is. All the hacks are back, except for SCV organic repair, hack hack and the creep building hack.

And it also sucks because you lost your precious map hack that you were so proud of?


Of course it's a problem, and you are too. I bet every time you start up Starcraft, you start up the hacks. 1.11b was the best thing that happened to Starcraft in a long time. No more stacking is an advantage in map making because now people can use more creativity.

I agree with DK only on a small point. I never liked stacking in Defence maps. Too many times have I seen people Stack, but I didn't. 10 minutes into the game, I have over 150 kills, the other has 34 and everyone else has to pick up the slack. Stacking sucks in defence maps. And creativity, now that is something that every map should have.

And if you don't hack your life comes to an end? I don't like you, you aren't welcome here. You post on hack sites literally asking for hacks, you beg the hack makers to release newer hacks, you WANT hacks, therefore you are not welcome here.
