You will never make a balanced 1v1 map with that size. Its way to open, you can land behind the mains and attack minerals. Theres no chokes at all except for the starting ramp. Its ugly and boring. Please, if your going to submit maps, read the guide at the other melee fourm, and listen for what it says. Never make a 1v1 map over 128x128, hell, 128x128 is too big for 1v1.

Just use 128x128 for 2-4 player maps. Any bigger makes the mini map hard to see and the map really big. You yourself said that there are too many open spaces, and you are correct. Also, there aren't enough expansions. Try out on 96x96 for 1v1 and 128x128 for 2-4 player maps.

Not only does it have way too much open space, there is little decoration, and it doesn't look like something you should see, it's totally squareish.

That's got the makings of a great 4 or even 6 player map with some doodad, expansion, and blocking (water/walls) additions.
