If you need to remove posts that are essentially warnable spam, please hide them instead of deleting. It annoys me to get tons of report posts that link to nothing so that all I can do is guess what happened. It should be kept that way for at least a month, for the record.

IP is removing total post deletion from v5 anyway.

Yeah, I've learned (early on i guess) to simply read the post #.
Although I agree with DTBK, I admit I've deleted them a few times. pinch.gif

How do you hide a reply?

Sorry but it was a crapload. And I don't really think you need to know what spam looks like.

When I get my inbox stuffed full of reports of "spam, he should be banned", and the links lead nowhere, it's rather annoying.

Cheeze> There's a little picture of a piece of paper in the upper right corner of each post. Select the posts you want to hide and then select "Post multi-moderation: Set Invisible (Unapprove) Posts" in the right-hand side of the moderation <div>.

Should I just make a "Quarantine" forum that we can move all the junk posts to?

If it could be done automatically. Post-splitting and such is a pain in the ass.
