Just need to know if there are hotkeys for scxtra and if anyone knows where I can get them. I need to know if I can copy triggers by keyboard shortcuts.

Um...the ones I know are mostly

Copying triggers:Alt+C

Deleting Triggers:Alt+D

And, by using your vision and mainly common sense tongue.gif You can see that when in the trigger thingy making window it shows a line under the first word on the tabs on the side of the window like Copy and u just hold Alt+the underlined letter to do it without ClickFest on copying triggers pinch.gif

If u didn't understand this I am wierd, Don't hate me for it happy.gif

O, I tried using Ctrl + C. I don't use shortcuts with other things.....mainly because I think you are talking about shortcuts windows uses. Im on a linux box so the only short cuts that are common are used in my browser.

As with BuletButter, I didn't wanna find them all out on my own.
So, you're owed double-apologies; me, and BuletButter.

I'd like to that despite it saying "X-Tra" these hotkeys work for any StarEdit based editor, and most of them in SCMDraft 2 since I told SI to put them in a while back.

After choosing a unit to place, except maybe for start locations, press 1-8 to change the owning player before placing a unit.

SAMPLE
Press control-u to open the unit layer, then select a marine to place for player 1. With the unit on your cursor, press 2, and now you can place marines for P2.

Funny thing is i use that all the time. And nither Heimdal or Sucidial Knew about that untill i pointed it out and requested it be made into there programs. Also you can change the player of an existing unit by selecting it and pressing a number.

Yeah start locations are annoying cause they deselect. When you change the player.

I also pointed out to Sucicidal that if you hold Shift while in the fog of war Layer it creates fog for all the players at once. (i think it is shift maybe control)

I just wish that when you changed players you could use the damn number pad. Going to the top of the keyboard can be annoying.
I also wish StarForge would just use ONLY the numbers on the number pad. I put in 2, and it uses the 2, but the dumb thing scrolls down. Annoying for terrain editing.

Yeah, they are all included, but then Starforge and SCMDraft are separete programs, while X-Tra Editor used the existing format, and Library file from Staredit didn't it SI?

SCMDraft has single Fog for each player, couldn't you just set another under player 8 for all of them?

He added the key. So it works the same way it does in staredit. except the amount of fog modified relates to your brush size. In staredit it is always a 3x3

Yeah, i wish that was a choice, on its size. Star Edit was a great program when it came out, but now is really limited.
