Well again on www.gamefaqs.com vote for stacraft
After looking at the different polls the whole thing seems to be a little BS, there are 4 Zelda games in the poll. Id say thats the biggest load ive ever seen
In the first bracket its Mario 3 vs Zelda I
In the second its C.Trigger vs Zelda: LTTP
In the third its FFVII vs Zelda: OOT
and in the fourth its Starcraft vs The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
right now SC is only losing by 200 votes (very close) so get out there and VOTE

Voted. As of this post, StarCraft is ahead with 50.7% of the vote. But I have a hard time seeing StarCraft beating Zelda: Ocarina of Time or FFVII in later matches.

Well I'd be happy even if it werent SC that won at least it wouldnt be Zelda

StarCraft is teh winner. It's funny, because I voted when I woke up at like 9:30 AM and went onto GameFAQs. StarCraft only had 25% of the vote and I was like "WTF". I checked again about 12 hours later and it was tied.

I know that I'm definately voting for Zelda. Ocarina of Time was a legendary game when it came out, being a prefect fusion of action, plot, and puzzle gaming. SC, while being a good, solid game, didn't have that same impact: Blizzard didn't really go all out to add any true innovations to the game (except for the wonderful campaign editor) - it was, essentially, Warcraft with futuristic units.
Plead don't lynch me, I'm not saying Starcraft is a bad game, I'm just saying that it never really created the same sort of impact with a mainstream audience. What allowed it to beat WW is that, unfortunately, the cel-shading turned off the older gamers that made up the voting population at GameFAQs.
I'm not mad. Just trying to discourage stupid 'Zelda bashing' (Zelda!!!111 more lik celd4!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111). cj240, I'm looking at you.
UPDATE: Now this is tough! Super Smash Bros Melee vs. FFX!!!!!
UPDATE2: Even tougher, if SSBM beats FFX (which is likely), it'll have to take on SC! Oh, and check out the matchup in the top column: Mario 3 vs. Zelda 1!

I voted for FFX its just a better game Imo, like every FF game its the plot that makes it great though the graphics in FFX make it just that much better.
well that was really the whole point of SC when it was being designed "futuristic warcraft", though it turned oyut to be much better than any Wcraft game yet.

WC with more races, more variation between the races, and, uhh, that's all I know, but I'm damned sure it was better in WC in a LOT of ways.
I'm not much of a fan of Zelda games.
And think about it; Zelda OoT was made when? While SC was made in 199-what? 6? That's about when Super Metroid came out for the Super Nintendo/Famicom.

Oh, there's no doubt that SC was orders of magnitude better than WC2. What I was saying was that Blizzard didn't do anything special with SC, compared to the game market in general. Except, of course, for the map editor, which was a brilliant move.
I've played both games, just so you know that I do have the credentials.
And FFX isn't the greatest game I've seen. Sure, the graphics are stunning. Sure the storyline is pretty great. But it bears the stigma of all FF games: it is so frickin' repetetive! SSBM has 200 times the replayability. I've owned it for three years, been playing it regularly for all that time, and not only is each match unique and challenging, but I still learn a little bit more about the gameplay and game engine. I say that we put SC up against a game more like it; one that will withstand the test of time. Please vote for SSBM!

Hmm.... It's the original NES Zelda vs Super Mario 3. Now, I hate to say it, but if it happens that the original NES Zelda comes up against StarCraft, I'm not picking StarCraft. I wuv that original Zelda.
