I've been playing Starcraft off and on for about six years, now. My brother got it when it first came out and I started playing it a year or so afterwards. I've only gotten into map making over the last year and a half.

I've played Starcraft since 2002. First a burned SC (no expansion) 1.05. After that I got a cracked BW 1.09 from another friend and finally, early 2004 I decided to buy it just to try it online.

When it came out, I think it was 1997, I'm not sure.
All I do know is I was like 7-8 and was pwned every game unless I build mass cannons.

iv been playing ever sence it came out
but played more once broodwar came out.. but then again i played it here and there but i remember atleast playing for 2 month a year.. but these days im playing it more..

Since it came out I think, maybe 6months after. (not on interweb) when BW came out I played it online was first accounts were Pinecone_Man and Lopkin. Got into mapmaking one or two years ago.

How could you play more than the first year it came out? I got it day of release and I've been playing it mainly ever since then. I think Blizzard is teh raw.

i was like 6 when it first came out but i would watch my dad play melee over the internet at night befor i went to sleep and then when he went to work i would sneak on it and get owned hahahaha, he always got mad cause i screwed up his record
