Could someone link me to or tell me an in depth instruction how to get Starcraft into playability without a cd?
get a starcraft .iso file and mount it with daemon tools.
Yeah, I don't know how to do that. If I did, I wouldn't have posted this thread.
Find a program that makes a .iso file from a CD.
Then once you have the .iso file from Starcraft click on the Daemon Tools icon in your system tray, and select Device 0, find the file mount it and keep it mounted.
What does mounting do? How do I make an .iso?
OK download Alcohol 120% (Free Trial)
Then go to Image making wizard and make a .iso file from the Starcraft CD.
Then once you have the .iso file click on Daemon tools in your system tray and select
Device 0.
Then find you .iso file made from your starcraft CD and click open.
Now it is mounted. Now you have the Starcraft image file on the virtual drive.
Now you can play w/o the CD.
