The title says it all.
You know in Starcraft, there is a map type called Bound. But, where did that word come from? Why not call it Obstacle Dodge, etc.
It's shorter, for sure.
Maybe, since you're bound for the end...
Or the zerglings (most commonly used) bound when they run!
Bound means...
1. To leap forward or upward; spring.
2. To progress by forward leaps or springs.
3. To bounce; rebound.
Found it off of Gizoogle

...So they name the maps bound because you leap with the zergling all over the place.
Bound = To run, leap foward
like lings do across a obstacle course

What was the first bound then?
Sky Bound? I'm takign a guess.
KcKKryptonite coined the term bound in his map, Snow Bound, the first bound ever.
