Just post funny things that have happened to you in Halo here.
Once, I was in Sidewinder, sitting in one of the top bases playing against my brother. He was throwing grenades up there to try to kill me(50% hp), and suddenly, I saw a cluster of sparks erupt from my screen. As I saw a dark object moving away from me, I realized that his grenade hit me IN THE VISOR. When HE COULDNT SEE ME. ROFL
In fact, if it hadn't hit my visor, then it would have bounced off the back wall and into me, thus ending my camping spree.
Also, we agreed on no rockets and sniper.

I was playing Halo at a friends house and we were playing on the level with all the bridges and the rocket launcher is hidden on a tower by itself that you gotta jump to. Anyway, we were playing and he claimed he could snipe better then me. So we each went to one side of the map with full oversheilds to snipe each other. He didnt know that I was good at halo, and walked out from behind a wall, and I sniped him with my pistol 5 times and he dropped. He couldnt get the snipers zoom function to go because I kept shooting him. After that he only got one kill on me, while I was only using the pistol.

The pistol is, in my opinion, the most versatile weapon by far. Deadly at long and medium range and a match for most other weapons at close range. You can't go wrong with a Pistol. I usually prefer a Pistol to even a Sniper Rifle. The only annoying part about using it is compensating for gravity at long range.

well when you got the pc version for halo its not that hard to make glitchs like i made the biggest suicide weapons ever its the rocket launcher but it shoots 25 rockets in the ground and 125 firing randomly so cool.

Once, my brother was attacking me. I fled to the top of the base(can't remember which) in Sidewinder, just barely alive. After a while he left me alone, and I decided to go downstairs to get the health pick-up.
I accidently fell off the ladder, died, and it said
"You killed U_B" in his screen. Wtf...?! O.o

2v2 Sidewinder, maximum shields, maximum life, rocket launchers only. I'm Driving the Warthog, just messing around. My buddy is in the back, controlling the turret.

Anyways, I proceed to try and climb it(successful a few times), but this one time, as I am going up, we are about half way up, and my other buddy was driving the Tank(4th buddy was sitting on the tank). He used the "rocket" blast, but missed... sort of. He hit under us, so the Hog was sent barrel rolling, hit the nearby wall, and bounced back, towards the tank. Oh crap! our buddy(sitting on the tank) hits the jeep with a rocket blast, but not before we both jump out(just about dead, and the fall WILL kill us). We(me and turret buddy) proceed to launch a rocket , then throw a frag each. 4 way kill, all at the same time(within 0.5 second), hahah.

me and my friends play games like running eatcother over in ghosts!
howto: oner person is in a ghost
the rest are on foot
(should be agreed apon) players on foot can use grenads only.
the player in ghost cant shot at other players, and can only run em over.
after the chaser has run over a person 2-3 times, that player has to be it, but if the ppl on foot kill the person on the ghost, theyre deathcount is erased.
we have tank wars and other fun games.

Ok this is what you do if you got Halo for pc get HMT 3.5 from halomods.com thendl .net frame work or something like that from microsoft.com then use the modder open BG go to veihcles then go to worthog click speed tur up to 1 on reverse and forwad (1 is more then enough) after that go to excel then put .23 then save make a lan game choose bg and get in warthog go forward itll go so freaking fast you can also make it so you can drive the hog in gunner or passenger and you can fire the gun from driver and passenger its also fun on tank and ghost and banshee

This happened last week i was at my friends and we had 2 xboxs there at this party so we linked those and played a 8 player game. We started of on team race and ran peeps over but then i made senario where there was 1 ghost and 8 peeps and they fought for it with only gernades. My mistake. Not only was it a blood fest but i got i the ghost and was flying a saw 2 gernades stick and when they exploded i flew out and threw a gernade. Accidentally, hitting someone with it, it exploded killing him then the ghost hit me and the other gernade left on it killed the 3 peeps running for the empty ghost.
O yea, try this. When u kill someone get plasma gernades and stick them to the dead bodies and watch them fly, if u can get one on the hip and the second on the foot they bounce up then shoot forward like a rocket.

i was at my friends house, i was in tank and he had plasmas, he threw one on the right tip on the front of the tank. when it exploded the tank made a 90 degree angle (or it was pointing straight up). while he was recording it on his Archos thing i hit it with a rocket launcher and it landed on him, killing him..... very funny when it happened

Well, this is not so much a funny as something funny you can do to Elites...
often, in Assault on the Control Room, you'll reach that circle room with the patrolling Elites(also often with sleeping Grunts)(well, different rooms each time, but identical in shape). Well, stand behind the door, but close enough that it's open, so you can see him but he can't see you... then, when he's in the middle of your screen, bounce a flare(Plasma grenade) off the ceiling above his head... he'll do funny things almost every time... and those spots are usualy Checkpoints, so you can keep reverting to saved.
Another thing that happened to me, is I stuck a plasma to a Grunt... his partner followed him...
Same room, I was following a patrolling Elite so I could plasma him... he ran screaming to his friends.
Note: Both of these events took place in the same room(though I had reverted to saved several times between each one). The room also happens to be one of the ones described above. WOOT my 999th post! I will be Uber this evening!(It's 4:00 in the morning here).

Ok here's one, I was playing Prisoner on Multi-Player (system). And my friend started to jump off these high platforms and own me. He called himself "Paratrooper". I finally got fed up with this and took my sniper out. (I'm the pwnage with the sniper ) And right when he was about to shoot me! BLAM in the face...
I thought this was funny..

One time my friend was playing under the name "Dr. X". Of course, being the video codec-literate fansub junkie that I am, I thought his name was "DivX", cracked up, and got killed. I couldn't play well for the rest of the night because I kept seeing "You were killed by DivX" on my screen all the time.

He kept going into my base and camping. I got this bright idea to let him shoot at me. Then when he reloaded I would throw a grenade near him. Turns out it was a plasma.
So he shot. With a sniper rifle. Didn't hit me, when he turned to run back I threw the nade. It stuck on his ass!
He didn't know he had it on him, so he was waiting for me to come up.
BOOM!

i was playing with my friend on blood gulch when i hit the tank he was in with a ghost, i went into the air and he shot me with the tanks main gun. It hit Me and i went friggin' flying but didnt die, as i went really high i jump out of the ghost and threw a grenade as he shot me and the tank is like 90 feet in the air doing barrel rolls and lands right on top of me, killing me, it was cool, if only like 3 seconds long

Last night i was playing in blood gulch and u know the sniper tower on the sunny side of the map well i was there and i was killing my friend and my other friend, whom i forgot about was scoping me so i jumped and i hit the ground and ran bullets flying i made it all the way across and about 2 feet from the ghost he shot me in the head. Not 2 minutes later he was in the ghost and he was trying to get it ontop of one of the bases i threw a plasma and he ws driving away and BOOM. I've never seen him jump so high in my live he must have crapped his pants it scared him so bad.

Ok... Where I'm at, we have LAN parties every saturday or so and so we begin with the fun stuff.
LAN PARTY 1:
- All Right, my friend Arnie is crazy with the rocket launcher and loves to trail behind you and you wouldn't know it (BTW RADARS HAVE BEEN DISABLED) and then he'd chop you or commit suicide by feeding you a spoonful of Rockets, so he trailed behind me and got me the first time and then the second time, I heard him snickering, so I jumped up and over him and chopped him on the back!! (Was very much funnier than what I layed out...
)
LAN PARTY 2:
- We played prisoner FFA with 16 players, jesus tap dancing christ, was that the most destructive game ever, anyways, my friend Eddy was getting all excited and of course jumped up and down with a drink in his hand, only to drop it on his X-Box LmAo LmAo LmAo LmAo!!!1111
LAN PARTY 3:
- Jeff got his leg humped by a dog. LmAo LmAo LmAo
