Hey, I've seen this before and I tried (through lurking) all the fixes I could find. When I start up it gives me the 'can't find procedure <thingy> in Rich<thingy>.dll' error.
CODE

C:\PROGRA~1\STARCR~1\SCMDRAFT>dir
Volume in drive C is LOCAL
Volume Serial Number is 3405-1DFB

Directory of C:\PROGRA~1\STARCR~1\SCMDRAFT

12/30/2005  05:12p      <DIR>          .
12/30/2005  05:12p      <DIR>          ..
05/29/2005  04:38p           1,323,008 Scmdraft 2.exe
08/09/2004  02:58a      <DIR>          Plugins
08/08/2004  01:39p               3,934 readme.txt
12/30/2005  05:25p                 264 Scmdraft2.ini
03/05/2003  07:56p             315,392 Riched20.dll
12/30/2005  05:25p           1,005,417 AutoUpdate - Scmdraft2.
12/06/2003  03:35p             486,400 dbghelp.dll
04/28/2005  12:44a               6,168 trigedit help.txt
12/30/2005  05:27p           1,097,369 backupDB.scmdDB
              8 File(s)      4,237,952 bytes
              3 Dir(s)   1,114,701,824 bytes free

C:\PROGRA~1\STARCR~1\SCMDRAFT>

As you can see, Riched20.dll is in my scmdraft directory. All the solutions I found say 'move the Riched20.dll file to your scmdraft directory' I also tried rebooting after I moved it here.

I can still open the program but I get this error. A second question: when I open the trigger editing plugin, I don't get any place to actually type in the code; I tried opening a file with triggers in it already and those I couldn't see or edit. From screenshots I've seen, I think I'm missing some 'tabs' on the right side, where by clicking new I can make it say 'Hello World'. If I understand how the GUI is intended, then I should be able to edit this text. I clicked _everything_, including random clicks where those tabs should be, and couldn't edit it. I also tried to paste in triggers from a textfile.

I hate to clog up the forum with _another_ post about this, but I really have tried everything I could think of.

Otherwise, kudos to the author - the terrain editing is much better than in old versions (I think I used to have one where one shape wouldn't update the screen unless you did something weird...)

Windows is odd.

can you post the version of the richedit20.dll? It shoulkd woirk the way you have it set up.
Also, the missing text area in the trigger editor is caused by the dll error, because the code for it is in the dll.
