I'm planning on roleplaying at
http://www.planetadnd.com/, or at
http://planetadnd.com/pbmb//modules.php?name=Forum to be more specific, I have the same Screen Name and the Topic (If they get approved at either site) will be Border Lands.
If you have something against ADND I'll just ignore you. If an Admin or Mod has something against me posting websites, I'll edit the post and just PM it those interested.
I'm looking for some players to start DND a game with. (I'll be dming) I'm using second edition rules (I must say Thanks to PADND for putting the monstrous manual online, I don't have it... so any monster will probably be in there Wink
I'm looking for two-three players, preferably of good alignment, but any class is aceptable. Characters must be level one, but premade ones are okay, as long as you can somehow get me your character's stats to me. All clases mentioned in the player's handbook are allowd as are any races mentioned inside. I will warn that halflings and gnomes will have a much harder time adventuring.
To make stat rolling easier for anybody making a new character, take the values 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, and 8 and just arange them as you like. (it means you'll be good in areas, not so good in others.)
I'm not using campaing worlds like Ravenloft or Forgotten realms.
If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to reply. I'm not a terrible DM, but I'm rough around the edges.
(Oh, I almost forgot, this is medieval setting, no smokepowder or arquebuses (Sorry if I mangled the spelling), and you start with 100 gp for equipment)
I'll tell a little about my world:
The land is a diverse world, but the whole northern half is orc country. Amassing an army, the orcs and the southern humans have clashed, but a unsteady peace has fallen as of late. Winter is non-existant, save for the mountain peaks, due to the plane's close proximity to the plain of fire. In the far east, in the farthest and most remote part of world, across the raging river styx (Yes, greek mythology reference, but that's the only one) lies the Borderlands, only touched by one human outpost. Large stone arches of portal gates scatter the borderlands, sending travelers to distant places and times.
Velnor the capital of Groon, the united human nation, is an amazing place of wealth, culture and hidden power. PlaneWalkers tell of a city, in another land that could compare, Boulder's Fate or something or other, as old Gregory at the Black Hangover would tell many a customer. But, even in Velnor evils can lurk and live. The world is at a turning point, and even the Power of Groon can't stand the tide of orcs that are about to come down on the world.
To the west lay a massive swamp, then a mighty ocean, then... not continuing with the gargantuen and massive obstancles lays a tiny island, the island of a Millenium's Footstep...
