I've unzipped all ScmDraft files into a directory, copied Riched20.dll there but an error about entry point into procedure RichEdit10ANSIWndProc in DLL Riched20.dll occured. I had not got this problem before I reinstalled Windows. Now I have Win XP Professional. Need help.

ADDITION:
Well, mabe I've started from wrong point...
Of course I tried to load ScmDraft without Riched20.dll, but it just crashes with no error messages. Plugins folder with TrigEdit plugin in it is created. My system - Win XP Prof SP2 Rus; tried to run ScmDraft 2 6V1, ScmDraft 2 6V2, ScmDraft 060BETA and ScmDraft 2 045. There was a topic with similar problem on forum but I coudnt find an answer there: Can not run under XP SP2. All ScmDraft versions expet 2 045 crash asking to save diagnostic file, the last didn't ask anything. Could anyone help me?

Try unzipping this into your scmdraft folder, overwriting possibly existing files: http://www.ckoinig.at/SCMDraft/PC/files/sc...t2_richedit.zip

let me know whether this fixes the problem for you.

the last guy with the problem never contacted me when I tried to reach him, it may be the russian winXP version. Drop me and DW a PM with a way to contact you if DW's file doesn't help and we will take a look.

It does not help me. I tried to run all of the listed above versions. There is no error about entry point as with my riched20.dll, it just crashes.

I found a very old version of ScmDraft (beta 1.0) which is running (!!!). It doesn't have Plugins directory, only two dll's SFmpq.dll, storm.dll and that's all. It have an error (adress violation in SFmpq.dll) on run and works a little buggy, for example minimap is not showing...

That's an old version of SCMD. It lacks almost all the positive aspects of current version SCMD2 (but hey, it was decent for its time).

The reason it's running is that SCMD2 was a complete re-write of SCMD1. In fact, I believe it's even in a different language. So really, knowing that SCMD1 runs doesn't help the problem at hand.

Yuppi!!! I ran it! w00t.gif w00t.gif w00t.gif
Well, how it all happened. I had 2 SC on my last system (one was the latest version "for play" and the other was 1.04 "for experiments"). When I reinstalled Win I saved em. Neverless I installed a new SC on my new system (it was Rus version) and patched it by 7x-patcher to the latest Eng version. So the ScmDraft was crashing. Then I changed SC Path to my old "for play" SC and... it ran! biggrin.gif I think the problem was in my mpq's. Thanks everyone for help! wink.gif

Ha, so these problems come from the version of SC being originally Russian?

Nice, you solved one of the mysterious reasons SCMD2 was crashing for a few people.
