I play Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction and I went to gametrailers and saw this trailer of Guild Wars on there. They said that if you love Diablo 2 (Which I do) then you will love this. But before I go out spending either 39.99 or 69.99 (specical version of the game) I want to see what you people think of it, if there are any people that have this. I don't want to go to one of the fan sties and ask this because they will all come flying in with yeses all over the place.

This game is free to play over the internet, has a vast world to play at, and is pretty much the same thing as World of Warcraft, but with no fishing or mining and stuff like that.

I'd buy it i'll tell you that much. I mean seriously. WoW = P2P, GW = Free!!! and theres really no difference when it comes to gameplay i hear.

No. The game sucks after you get to a certain point where it's impossible to do anything at all. Making a guild is next to impossible. The game sucks ass, I wasted 40 dolalrs on it.

From what I hear and see in trailers I think I am going to get it... the special version as well... This is like Diablo 2 and I love that game.

Guild Wars is a game thats good to play when you have nothing else to do. I play it myself when I dont have Game Card for WoW, none of my friends are online on BW and I'm very unlucky on CS.

This game is basically focused around PvP, unlike WoW. So stop making the comparsion between the two, they are not the same. Free online play is good though.

There is supposed to be a Diablo MMORPG I think. And World of Warcraft and Guild Wars both focus around PvP since the Horde vs. Alliance and Guild wars...pure PvP.

A few friends of mine told me that it's a pretty good game well worth it's $40. But if you expect to play for months, you will get quite bored and there isn't very much new things to do after you play for some time.

You guys are saying this is something like Diablo right? I have had that game now for... ahhhh..... 6 years about and I STILL love playing it and right now it is my favorite game... If this is like Diablo then I am definetly getting this... I won't get tired of this game then

Guild Wars is ok game, has nice features, spells/abilities, as well nice pvp. But get all your spells and your abilities you need do RP part which is somewhat boring. Good thing is you can be two classes in one and select where you want put your points. I got bored of GW in few weeks due fact i hated RPing get my skills to make my pyromancer 100% kickass in PvP Mode. But this just my opinion you would have play game and see for yourself, even so i think waste of money.

I know that this is always my final desision but I am always up for what other people have to say... Now I look at the poll and see 6 yes'es and 6 no'es... I don't know which to do now... What are the major bad things about this? Once I know that then I can make up my desision.

I heard the prices dropped in stores. Some stores said that they kept their price of $49.99, but otehr stores are selling cheap for #34.99...
