I turned on my comp and it said file corrupted....

I just lost 2 years of downloads, maps, EVERYTHING

Does anyone know wat causes a file in ur comp to get corrupted and no viruses i know i had none.

Yeah, it isn't normal for stuff to be entirely corrupted by something internal.

Lol cheeze, his computer was reformated like 7 times in one month, or something like that. Mine, about 2 years ago, said it was missing Kernal.dll and wouldn't start up. Happened again, and I just stuck this recovery CD in to fix it, but it reformatted.

Ya, for about a month his MSN name was some variation of reformatting...again.
