thats bad... that means that 1000+ people will get hurt.
i voted 1000 innocent people being put into prison. society will not get hurt and some of them are bound to do crimes in the future....

Apparently, you've never had a loved one, go to prison -_-
I say niether. If our country had it's problems fixed (No deb; Thus, no poor commiting crimes. No public violence; Thus, no more teenagers commiting hanus criems, ect...)
It's only opinion though. That's all Lite & Serious discussion is. Enless you are talking about a thread that you can suply proof to....

Imprisoning Free people. You can just get them out later. Criminals are a bit harder to find afterwards.

I'd rather have 1000 innocent men go to jail. I'd rather than than release 1000 murderers back into society. Imprisoning the innocent would have a lesser effect on society I think.

no1 said that the 1000 ppl you realise would be murderers. they could be there just for the night becuz of a distpute and it got physical person called police, they could be there for theft, for rapist...well you get the picture, realesing 1000 prisioners doesnt mean they're all gonna go and start killing ppl, or were there for killing anyone in the first place.

I'm going to say let 1000 criminals out. About 10% of them will continue doing crimes and get away with it, 40% of them will give up on crime because they don't want to go back to prison life, and 40% will eventually go back to prison for getting caught again.

Problem with letting 100 criminals is that it could cause massive collateral damage. Most crimes have a very high repeat rate.

I don't know for you but our Prison rock, Cafeteria, own toilet, nice bed, TV and Xbox per cell. You only have to suck 1 Greasy Rooster a day! A good place to live

no... that would mean your prisons suck. giving prisoners pleasure in going to jail is the opposite of what they are suppose to be. jail is something you put people into for punishment not rewards
