I think the next zelda is looking too much like an average rpg. Link isn't even the same person. sad.gif

Yeah he is, you should really research the game past a simple video. You just start the game off as a cowboy in a village. Like in wind waker when you had blue clothes for like 5 minutes. This will be the same, except there will be more optional quests to do.

Link has been the same person in very few Zelda's. There's been about 5 different Links.

If you listened to the video, you hear Mr. Miyamoto say that it is a different Link. and that the game takes place several decades later.
Meh, your right though, I probably should have looked more into the game besides the movie, this is the first I've heard of it though. pinch.gif

Zelda isn't an RPG though. Its an adventure game and has always been besides Link II and it don't count. They are making the gameplay even more open ended than in OoT and are using the same art style of OoT just more advanced graphics lol.

Can someone please explain to me why OoT was better than MM? I played em both and thought that MM was much better than.

MM was the better game but was short so that is why OoT is better. Not to mention OoT's story is alot better.

The time limit really brought down how much you could really enjoy the game to a certain extent.

Ikana Canyon was in MM, not OoT. Though you are right that Ikana Canyon was nicely made. Unless your thinking of Gerudo's Canyon from OoT, which is still pretty kick butt.

I loved oot more due to the fact that it was twice as long and the story was incredibly good (yes cloud better then ff). On the other hand. MM was excellent for its side quest and just all around the game. You see familiar faces in it and some new ones that you wouldn't expect (like king whats his face at ikana castle). They both have their ups and downs but oot was the true emotional zelda due to hyrule is peaceful for a time, then you get older and it is completely destroyed. The few survivors live in secret areas and everywhere has some demonic force. You try to save those that link cares for and to protect the one that link loves, zelda aka shiek. MM never gets that emotional at all. The saddest thing is probably seeing the scarecrow in the log crying cause his friends left him. I'd play oot over mm everyday but i'd like to play both if i had the choice.

I remember when Nintendo announced this, there was a lot of hype and such, but most of it died down since there hassn't been any new information about the game.

It's more on opinion, I guess. I've only played OoT and I enjoyed it (have yet to play MM), but I prefer A Link to the Past.

Ocarina Of Time is still my favorite game of all time I think it is better than Majora's Mask because the story is better and then there is more things like young link has his 3 dungeons to beat and some things to do if you really get into playing the game, and then adult link where there is the temples personally I love the Forest Temple i dont know why its just my favorite temple of them all and then the quests to do to get all the pieces of heart i know all zeldas have this but to summarize this all Ocarina of Time is better for the story line and its longer and its funner than Majora's Mask i think but i do love the Healing Song lol in majora's mask
