A) Wrong forum.

B) The story in the books is MUCH better. I couldn't stand Harry Potter 3 in theatres and haven't seen 4.

For the more adult/horror/detective movie fans:

Saw+Saw 2

Very good movies that contian spine twindling gore and great plot twisted stories.

And:

King Kong

I really enjoyed this movie becuase it ahd a great mix of character developement and action. I was a tiny bit dissappointed to find that through the entire movie Kong was only going to be CG made, I am very fond of sets and real objects, movie makers use too much computer aid monsters.
Ahhhhhhhh the bug scene, I was sad when my friend the 'Cook' guy was eaten anaconda style by the worm/slug!!! cry.gif

Bah, that wasn't hidden. The only thing that could have made it more obvious is if he'd said " I REPRESENT JESUS YEAH!". Edmond represents John, when he denied christ 3 times, or Judas, when he betrayed. Don't know which yet.

On another note: I don't see a SINGLE movie up there that's not either a sequel, from a book (which usually is good) or a remake. GET SOME NEW FREAKING IDEAS!!

A movie that sucked during holiday Christmas season:  The Chronicals of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
First of all, we know that this is an allegory of when Jesus dies, comes back to life, and destroys evil...anyways, shouldn't we be more direct? Let's start with the title.

The Chronicals of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Now for our first step on being direct, we'll change "Lion" into Jesus.

The Chronicals of Narnia - The Jesus, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Better, but not quite.  Would Jesus watch this if it had the unholy word, "Witch", in it?  I think not, let's take that out.

The Chronicals of Narnia - The Jesus and the Wardrobe.

I don't Jesus had a wardrobe so might as well take that out.

The Chronicals of Narnia - The Jesus

Well we could change Jesus into Christ and the Chronicals of Narnia doesn't seem passionate enough, let's change that.

The Passion of the Christ

Perfect.

I simply got a kick out of that...

Anyways, a good movie to see would be Hostel since Quenten Tarantino's name is in the commercial.

Hidden? The last thing Aslan said was, "It is finished," that isn't very hidden. CS Lewis is a well reguarded Christian author......

King Kong was alright, I found the costume design to be rather sloppy. The rest of it was outstanding!

as for you, Holysin, I saw no humor in that at all. mellow.gif It sounds like a lame excuse for satire...wait a second...

King Kong was really well-made, but not on par with Lord of the Rings. I would recommend renting that one, only because three hours is a bit long for a good but not spectacular movie (only Lord of the Rings and perhaps Harry Potter are as of now able to manage that stunt). Harry Potter... I was simply amazed at how incredible that one is. It captures the important themes of the book masterfully (the ones vital to the story, or rather not including the elf liberation subplot and whatnot). I pray that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's director comes back to put books 5-7 on the big screen.

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone was a good movie, no doubt about that, but each movie gets better and better. If this trend continues the seventh book will be better than Return of the King (what I view as an impossible feat).

I can't wait for the new Superman movie nor can I wait for X3. After RotK I thought my life with movies was at its end, but I was thankfully mistaken.

Now if only we can get Drizzt movies made... my life will be (nearly) complete.

It's funnier on television.

Colbert [I didn't know that's how you spelt it...] has gone down the hole ever since he left the Daily Show.

I simply disagree, I think he's still hilarious.
