Hostel comes out tomorrow, so I thought I would post my thoughts on this movie.
Now, as you may well know, I am a tad sadistic. This is not me acting. To a certain point I do enjoy the pain of others. This movie, which is almost entirely going for shock value and continuing the fad of movies made by Lions Gate Films. They made both Saw movies, and are apparently cashing in on the ZOMG PEOPLE GETTING ToRtUrEd reaction. I'm assuming that this movie will be exactly like those, only no plot/interesting bits/cleverness. Earlier i mentioned that I am sadistic, so you might be asking why I wouldn't enjoy a movie like this. Gruesomeness. Gore doesn't bother me, but i do end up scaring myself shizless by continuing the plot in my head past the movie. If I see ways to improve the scariness, i will in my head. This usually happens when my thoughts are wandering right before i go to sleep. So I get little or no sleep. Well, to go back to the original point, Hostel is simply a torture movie designed to appeal to the masses of people that enjoy having shiz like this shoveled down their throats and labeled as "entertainment". I do believe in free expression and allowing people to make movies and shows as they wish, but this is a bit too far. Personally, I wouldn't want my 3 year old cousin seeing even the commercials for a movie, something is wrong.
Hostel is going to be a piece of crap, sprinkled with blood.
If someone sees the movie, tell me if I am wrong.

I think opposite. Generally, movies with Quenten Tarantino's name are good. I'm going to see it.

I like Tarantino's movies as well, but if his action movies (Kill Bill) has more gore than most horror movies, what will his horror movie be like?

I don't plan on watching this. I would sneak if I really wanted to see.
Anyways, movies that are all graphics don't really impress me. Some graphic violence is good but it the main thing is that, then I don't like it.

there gonna go all out on this movie, i can tell, there not gonna cut anything, cause u know how when someone stabs someone, they dont show it fully, like a back view or a view that u cant see it fully. this is wats gonna happen in this movie, very graphic very gorey, very gruesome.

i've seen it. it completely sucks compared to SAW. SAW had the best storyline out of:
SAW 2 and Hostel.

It was just like a porn movie. There wasn't any dangerous things the character does. So he runs into save this asian girl (like an idiot) and her right eye is gone. They go to train station and she is frightened by what she looks like in the mirror, thus making her jump infront of a train.

Meh, I don't plan on seeing it, I heard it was just porn and then corney torture that bleeps out most of the actually good and gruesome stuff.

I plane on seeing hostel after theatres. No one would take me and I'm only 14.

For a gore movie, the plot was rather good. Cause you can't compare gore movie plots to oscar designed plots. It's apples and oranges.
I'm pretty sure you see a cameo of the director really early on in the film hitting a bong. Would say 100%, but I only saw the movie once. He's the same guy that did cabin fever if I recall correctly, which has easily one of the best jokes ever at the very end of the movie. "What's up my africans?"
And you see another cameo of a director as well. This guy has made movies that are down right insane. Even my friend had to look away while we watched em. God damn that guy's sick. *Shakes*
