I've read some stuff recently about people who've been pretty much dead(no brain activity whatsoever) during medical procedures and have out of body experiences...and what they describe happening during this time has been accurate according to the doctors and others there. Do you think this is evidence of soul's existing or not? I can't seem to make sense of it...
I think it points out the fact that we still don't truly understand how the brain works, and that there are still many myseries waiting to be solved by medical science. However, to automatically assume that humans have a "soul" because of this is just jumping to conclusions.
Yeah we know the general place where certain things might happen like memory, but we dont know how the info is truly stored. Secondly though there is still some brain activity in the brain no matter how little, If a brain were to completely suspend all activity meaning no electrical impulses there would be no way that person could be revived except by those shock things(which send electricity in the body).
If we do have a sould it wouldnt have anything to do with brain activity not really, "The Spirit and the Flesh" each one is a seperate thing.
all your subconscious activitys such as breathing, your heart beat, and all the medical stuff is controled by ur brainstem (AUTONOMICAL FUNCTIONS i think is the term to describe it.)
I have a great science/math teacher who will MAKE you learn weather u wanno or not....
Just think... if you really disected every little moment in your life, joy, pain, anything. It's all really just little shocks in your brain. I think I'm just going to sit here and reflect for a while...
On a different note, Silent, learn to spell! (Automobycilcle functins - What the hell!?)

I'll be honest. When I die, I expect to be decomposing somewhere underground. I believe in actual facts apposed to "I'm going to heaven because someone says I am".
No offense to anyone who does believe in heaven.
