As some of you probably noticed, I am trying to revive lost classics and start few servers for online play. I am looking for someone who could host a server for Quake1 or other classics. It doesn't have to be 24/7 
Now I have only Quake1 on game list but more are coming soon.

It will eat only about 15 Mb of RAM or less if you run dedicated server. I will support with all needed info to run the server. You have to give me your IP so players can connect to you.
All games are available for Download.

Tell me how to set it up and provide me with the game files, I will try to host it. I don't own the game tho.

I'ts unofficial versions/mods that we have there. Free download and 100% legal. BTW new games coming today

I could do it. But i dont know enough information. Does it cost any money.. do i have to sign up for anything. I dono much about running a server. But i like the game Quake 
and i have a lot of RAM to spare.

Thats probably the problem. I can't run Quake1 dedicated, it crashes all the time. But on the other hand, I can run Half-Life dedicated...
Anyway, when I find out I will send you the additional files so you can run dedicated server...

I might be able to run a server. Although it couldnt be for more then 4 hours on school days.
