Why the heck do you need all that stuff?? I wouldn't put up with a crappy, long outdated system, but one that does just what I need it to do is just what I have:

Are you telling me you need all that stuff to do what you need to do?

That's why I put up three different configurations. Personally I would be pleased with the middle system (the high end system would be able to do anything perfectly though). I guess I don't need a 30" widescreen monitor - my 20" suits me alright. But I must admit that an extra 10" wouldn't hurt.

Hee hee, well I plan on this computer that I get in the summer of 2007 to be my all in one computer for everything - work, games, television, movies, music. For that I want a high-end system.

ADDITION:
Oh wow, you guys really need to check out Buyxg.com.

That site is seriously kickass. Best priced computers that I have seen anywhere.

Ok, for $4,329 I was able to get the Highend set up included above, except I had to get 2 GB of Corsair CMX1024 memory (3-3-3-8 vs 2-2-2-5), and I got dual 150 GB Raptors instead of the 3 hard drive solution above, so I saved some money there (while sacrificing a bit of hard drive space). Alas, 300 GB is enough for me. Perhaps some of you would actually use 650 GB though. Other than that I forgot to include a wireless card, firewire card, OS, media card reader, and floppy drive in the highend system above, which would raise the price by another $200-$300, but it's all in the $4,329 system (Windows XP 64-edition for the OS) and that's with shipping included (no tax where I live).

Rich people.
I might get something in the middle range soon... I'm not sure.. Either that or I just wait till college for a high end computer.
