I would like to start making some flash for the ideas that I got in my mind but it seems that as soon as I sit down in front of a flash design program... then I am totally lost. Does anyone know of some free flash tutorial sites that I can look at to try and learn this stuff?

well it depends on what program you use. if you use macromedia flash heres a good site kirupa you should learn the basics first:

motion tweening
shape tweening
Frame by frame animation

try not to get into the things that piss you off like action scripting untill later on...
