On a scale from 0-10, tell me how often you use hotkeys in the course of one game. 0 meaning "I never use hotkeys" and 10 meaning "I use hotkeys for nearly every command". (that does not include "A" for attack move)

Depends on the game. If it's defense, about 8.43*10^4, but on a bound, 0 and in a regular melee game, 100 or so, if I don't get rushed out of it.

I was talking about the use of hotkeys in a melee game, I should have said that before...

I almost always use hotkeys. If I forget, then I actually use the mouse.

I'm about a 9.5 becuase there are a few I never cared to learn. But everything else (even F10 for the menu) is all hotkeys. And if you ever played a sniper map, you will die without hotkeys haha. Think about playing Sniper Bald Locks without hotkeys

For the letters, 9.5. I use them on everything, but occasionally i click on spells that I forgot the letter was.

I hardly ever actually click on anything anywhere on the command menu, the only times in which I've used the menu would be for making buildings for zerg (I hardly ever play them, don't know all the hotkeys), and using certain very low use special abilities, like restoration, that I havn't learned the hotkeys for.

10. The mouse is only necessary for placement of stuff and targetting, I save lots of time, and two hands are more efficient than one. It's gotten to the point where someone says something about BP (the gas station) and my first thought is "Build pylon."

Hm... most of you use hotkeys religiously. I'm just to lazy to learn them, so I click everything with the mouse. I've become so used to doing that, that I forgot they existed. I'm going to try and use them more. It might make my APM a little higher, giving me a slight speed boost.

Yes exactly. I don't relate to the gas station but I use I've gotten very fast at typing b -> *
And type this in a ums game:
F10-> o-> n-> o-> F10-> o-> n-> o-> *repeat*
That's good to annoy people with >:D.
