I'd like to try and classify myself as a Starcraft player. I know that the four classification titles are: Noob Chobo Hasu and Gosu <-- correct me if I'm wrong. I was just curious as to what exactly these are. How good is a hasu player, as well as a chobo player and so on... If someone could clear this up for me, that would be great.

[sub]Never heard of Chobo or Hasu. If I were to make four rankings, they would be.
1. Newbie - Has never played the game before.
2. Beginner - Has played game for a week or so, knows the basics.
3. Advanced - Has played for months, knows basically everything about the game.
4. Pro - Has mastered the game.

I'd classify this way
noob = Grade A crapola
player = not good, not bad
1337 = good
gosu = best of the best of the best.

Noob- Bad at game and bad manner
Newb- Beginner
Chobo- Beginner

Gosu- Derived from Chinese 'high hand' which means really good
Pro- Korean pros and the few foreigners that make it (Boxer, Giyom, Elky, etc..)

dont mind me.... sometime what i say doesnt make sense. what i was explaining about gosu is that there is a "gosu mode" in impossible choice. and i have beaten that game in gosu mode.

Actually, pro should be placed above gosu in Starcraft, since when you think of the best of the best, you think of the professionals in Korea, wheras gosus are the top foreign players and people who are really good, but not pro.
