most common maps of all time
if it was up to you, which one would you prefer to make?
I don't like any of them.
I would make an RPG (RPG) with obstacles (bound) and some town defense (Defense) to make it all unique.
I suppose I've only made a bound out of those three choices.
I've had the concepts for a defence a for a while. And have started making rpg's in the past, never finishing them.
I suppose the most fun thing to make ever is goofing around with a concept map, and turning it into something cool.

Like mines?
i personally think each of them have their own good. bounds are easier and the concept is easier to understand. RPGs take time and requires huge amounts of triggers. Defenses are pretty much as easy as bounds, just that you have to balance the dmg and life.
each of these maps gets old after a while (after they get beaten). bounds can be played individual, teams, or as 1 team. if played as 1 team, it gets boring really fast. individually and teams can be challenging and fun (but it still gets boring after a while).
defenses are the same. gets boring after a while unless it team vs team.
rpgs.... boring after you beat them...
i have a feeling i'm getting way off topic though....
I prefer making Defences. I also make bounds, but I have never finished one.
Defence: Easy to make, fast to finish, and fun to play.
Those choices suck. Wheres the other category or even better the pointless categorie
even tho its rly rare for most people to finish rpgs they are usually really great maps with practically a knew concept in each one. defenses are better then bounds because they are something you just enjoy but bounds can get very frustrating
Exactly. People overuse the idea of exploding units. Rofl. Why couldn't they put different obstacles and set a goal (for example: save the princess). That way the bound can at least be fun.
RPGs.
Although there is a lot of triggering, they're all very simple triggers most of the time so less of chance of something screwing the entire chain of stuff. Also people say "Remeber that awesome RPG with the story and fighting system" not "DUDE I TALY LEIK HAX0RZED TAT DUD IN BRODLANG DEFEANSE?!W"
Then again, look at Tarpit D, one of the most popular maps out there.

I didn't know it existed till now.
Tarpit D is kind of rigged. I play with some of the best defenders I know and we still lose.
I make RPGs since I can put my own story into it. Like... an alternative to making a book...
Defenses are boring.
What's the fun in making 34903292390203 bunkers in a certain location and watching units die? THERE IS NONE!
At least not for me.
Anyways, is it just me or do none of the games selected take any brains?
I prefer sports(Clicking arena stuff (It's hard to explain) and war games.

bound.

Yeah Man!!
Bounds take brain in my opinion. You have to figure out patterns to make. I don't think I can ever make one. lol
If you make a bound and try to submit it to the DLDB, I will stab you.
Why? Does that mean I'm making bounds look bad?
