I got bored and I'm a bit mad about those 2 "Moderation" whine threads so I made this.
Comments?
I'd say in the Other sections, the quality is going down, but in the Modding and Mapping sections, I think the quality is going up.
UMS Assistance is being flooded with questions.
But the important part is that those questions are being answered quickly and helpfully... I think.
The problem is those who don't completely know the answer will try anyways.
And then there are those who post the same answers even though the thread has been answered.
This is a nice way to creatively vent.
Right now I just want to close those 2 "Moderation" topics and set them to invisible so badly...
They should be merged and re-named to: "WHINE ABOUT MODS AND ASK TO BE ONE!!!!!!!!"
Damn, those are the worst 2 threads that I've seen in ages.
Pity doing that would only cause more problems =(
God.. the "ban kellimus" button keeps looking more enticing..
Maybe you guys feel that way because you are mods.
Did it ever occur to you maybe those problems are real? Maybe you are being biased?
Just a thought!
I try to be as objective as possible. I'm aware of the power blocs amongst the SEN members and I show favour to neither.
Oh, and as much as I see Kellimus as a friend, I think he's definitely the source of all the antagonism amongst the members. He does get picked on a lot, but he's made a very bad name for himself.
They seem all for more moderation, when a few weeks ago they were against how strict the mods were being. Maybe someone should clue them in to that more mods = more of a chance that their topics will be caught.
Meh, maybe we could try a popular sovereignty or something where we let an election be held for one person to mod for a short while. If it doesn't work out we can always stop.

Nice analysis, I think that I'll use it in those moderation threads.
