I only read the WarCraft and StarCraft novels. The SC ones were okay, but I thought the WarCraft ones were a tad boring.

Starcraft book one is the best out of the other three starcraft books.

In book two, the terran are a bit over-rated in strength.

In book three, the terran are like gods. Some group of rines can hold off an entire zerg swarm.
BLEEEP that, the zerg should've wiped em out.

I read two Diablo novels; Legacy of Blood and Kingdom of Shadows, both by Richard Knaak. Wonderous! I loved Kingdom of Shadows; so suspenseful.

I've read all three. They're good but some parts dint connect. Like kerrigan wanting to avenge the death of the overmind in #2.

Here I'll post a more detailed post of the guides of all three novels.

#1 Liberty's Crusade:
I liked this one the most. It was a novelization of the Terran Campaign, except there were a few extended parts, and a few different Characters. AFter I read the end of the story I was desparate to get the next book. This gets a bit detailed (I dont own this) sometimes. Overall I liked this.

#2 Shadow Of the Xel-naga:
I own this one. It got a bit dreary in one or two parts but it was quite exciting. Kerrigan's reaction to the death of the overmind Didn't make sense (especially in Brood War she said she had the overmind as her enemy) Also there had a few interesting parts. I was a bit disappointed at this because I expected this storyline to link to Liberty's Crusade. But It Didn't it was just another Starcraft conflict. One intersesting part is the rise of the Xel-Naga Butterfly or whatever it was. This actually does play the 2nd most improtant role in the Sc saga.

#3 Speed of Darkness:
I own this one too. This doesn't have any connection to the starcraft storyline (barely it does) It is entirely by starcraft conflict. The story of a confederate marine. They gave names for most of the marines, and the climax was very hooking. I thought that the ending for this was very dramatic. This story's last words echo throught your entire mind, (if you feel relaxed). This was was pretty fun too.

well there it is my review for all three books. Hope you find it useful.

ADDITION:
P.S. I suggest buying #1, and if you want #3. #1 especially.
