Staredit Network

Staredit Network -> Miscellaneous -> Starcraft the featured article for wikipedia
Report, edit, etc...Posted by scwizard on 2006-01-25 at 21:21:04
Wikipedia's starcraft article appeared on the front page today as the featured article.

I very much appreciate the publicity.

Remember, wikipedia is peer edited, so if you find any errors, you can correct them.
It's probably best to leave the article alone for now because it's featured, but you might want to edit some of the associated articles on the discusion page.

I would also like to note that this site is now famous enough to warrant a wikipedia entry. From the tone it looks the the entry was made by Yoshi, and is slightly biased towards his point of view. Maybe, if we work hard enough, the staredit.net article could become a featured article as well.

Currently, Doodle77 and I are working on a wikipedia article about EUDs. When it's done it will be a great place to refer newbies to.

"Mini Moose 2707 (wang Hertz"
Where are they getting these names?

Even though wiki is peer edited, that article is unavailible for editing.

Look at Meese's miniprofile.

ADDITION:
I can think that we could round up a bunch of us to write chunks of a new SeN article, making a huge one.

Chris RETIRED STAFF MEMBER - Chris is someone who was Yoshi's friend and a big supporter of Staredit Network until he changed for the worse.

What does it mean changed for the worse? And how do you find that page?

The site has to be much more significant for it to be on Wikipedia. It's going to get deleted, since if a place like Blizzforums can't even get an entry, I doubt SEN can either.

Why can't they? I've seen lots of articles about websites on there. It will be deleted if the article is poorly written or has a lot of factual errors.

There's even an article about the O RLY owls.

The SEN article has been up for a few months now.

Yeah Staredit.net already has an article on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staredit.net

It was started on October 3, 2005 by KoW and has been edited a bit since then:

I would take out the list of members on there. It doesn't seem fair to many others. Other than that, it looks pretty good!

I got IPbanned from WIKI for trying to delete the staredit.net article over and over. Loolol, it was gone for like 5 minutes, but they must have a file to recover it.
