is there any chance you could drop me the russian MPQs so I could try to fix this?

Well, I've just deleted those two "old" SCs. So I've got only the one which crashes SCMD and the other wich allows SCMD to work fine. Those one which allowed to run SCMD in this buggy (the bug was only with fonts and all other things, expect TrigEdit which is buggy itself, worked fine) way was installed from the russian install.exe, but I dont remember how I make him to work. I could only give you those mpqs which are crashing SCMD.

StarDat.mpq - 110mb, BroodDat.mpq - 18.5mb, patch_rt.mpq - 863kb
Is there any place around where I can upload them?

I'll be away for a week or more.

ADDITION:
By the way, by some reasons I cant open my StarDat.mpq (more exact I open it and the files list is empty) by WinMPQ and when I open BroodDat.mpq there is a list of files:

CODE

(listfile)
battle.snp
BroodUnits.doc
License.txt
SEditDEU.loc
SEditENU.loc
SEditESP.loc
SEditFRA.loc
SEditITA.loc
SEditPTG.loc
Smackw32.dll
standard.snp
StarCraft.exe
StarEdit.cnt
StarEdit.exe
StarEdit.hlp
storm.dll

I thought there must be some game graphics and other resources, instead of copy of game files... ermm.gif

And the last, how can I view the content of my install.exe archive?

ADDITION:
And One more question, what are SEditENU.loc, SEditENU.loc and other .loc files are used for? These are files in my SC "home" dir.

The reason no files are displaying for many of them (including install.exe and StarDat.mpq) is that you need the mpq listfiles.

After you download the master MPQ listfile from that site, configure WinMPQ to use them via the "File Lists" tab in the "Options..." menu.

The error probably stems from some conflict in using Cyrillic characters (Unicode?) in some of the controls (since I think SCMD2 uses the localized text that SC uses for various purposes).

install.exe contains a .mpq file. Just open it in an mpq viewer like WinMPQ or something of that nature.

If you can't get at the install.exe from the CD, then copy it to your computer and do it there.
