Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Old Problem
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2004-06-07 at 17:35:41
This is the same problem I complained about some time ago where my SE/X-tra/SF was screwing-up to high heaven.
As you can see, lots of things are screwy...
Anyone know how to fix this?
I tried opening a melee map, and it worked right.
Also, creating new maps works right.
Except until this last time, the one where I took that pic I have.

The image isn't appearing... hmm... either that or I'm just blind... that picture would sure help me and/or others to identify it biggrin.gif

I used PrintScreen to take a picture, pasted it into a .bmp file, then used Pixia to save it as a .jpg... \=

Meh, it seems to be striking randomly right now, so it's not as bad a problem as I expected.

What is the problem? You open a map opened in Starforge and the doodads are mucked? Or it says you cannot save it is writing? All those have answers in other threads.

Though it doesn't matter anymore, it started working again(O.o), I'll say what the problem was anyway. Again(I complained about this bfore, as I stated earlier).
No. There seems to be a big, dark block in the top left of the screen whenever I click, whatever unit I have selected will be placed??(perhaps it's just a graphical error, eitherway annoying), the mini-map will be blank, and whenever I use the mini-map to scroll around it leaves white boxes all-over it. =d

Sounds like your complaing about the effects of using null tiles in Staredit.

why did you close the thread?

Problem's gone, that's why *shrugs*
I didn't use null tiles.
It's the same thing as happened to me once before, when I didn't even have StarForge, so it couldn't be an SF problem as far as I can see.
