Wahoo! I'm spamming teh null!
Okay. My question is simple. Would this be considered a spammious topic?
Beacuse in a discussion between me and teh dork, i've come to the conclusion that it's okay to post stupid and pointless topics like this as long as it has a valid point, and can move on in discussion (According to Mr. Dorky's logic)
I do not wish to get warned for this, but knowing ma luck, I probibly will.
So pwease, oh great lords of SEN, answer my pwees of finding out what TeH SpAm ish!!!
Your logic makes no sense. If you hate the place, leave. Really, come on. I know the forum is really lame, now, but we get the point. If you dont like it, dont stay here.
For your information, I was not asking you.
And i'm trying to figure out what the mods and admin claim spam to be, you dolt. So I can report posts with no fault in it.
But you must not be able to comprehend such a small request.

Where do I see you addressing "Staff Members"?

great lords of SEN
Why thank you for pointing out the obvious to the inaine ^_^
The answer is no. If you care to find smilarly spammy topics that should be locked, feel free to report them.
Topic Locked
You haven't answered my question.
You just blatently locked my thread, without explaining what the hell a spammious thread is.
I do. And guess what? None of them get locked.
So now. Explain to me what a spammious thread is, since the rules of SeN have changed since Yoshi was here.
By unwritten law, spammious thread is a thread created by a member that is not respected at all. If a respected/highly popular member created a thread that is pointless, it would probably live.
Like when Kame created the "camo is cool" thread, that lived because Kame is awesome.
If a newbie or unrespected member created that, people would be like "WTFUX DIS THRED IS POINTLES U FUDGN NUB GOD DANGIT CLOThes IT" -usual SEN member
Er.. Um..
To determine:
-If it's in caps (HI MY NAME IS FIERCE)
-If it's really short (depends if it's a topic about a what you think)
-Just random things
-Period type (M.Y..N.A.M.E..I.S..F.I.E.R.C.E.)
-Just other things that dont make sense.
So you're saying that my O.o thread would have lived, if DTBK didn't come and lock it?
And according to Revelade's post, my O.o thread was not spam.
it wasn't really spam, just maybe a better topic title? if dt was to still do it, pm him and ask why
Well...Don't be like NerdyTerdy again...Don't unlock a thread that was locked by a Mod.
Yes cohs it has a point, or six, kind of like that Jewish Star.
If you noticed, I asked people why they believe I am cool
How is that a popularity contest?

When they lock it for no reason, and they don't answer the question asked, I will do so. That's abuse of mod powers.
not trying to be a jack*ss head but kellimus, from what I've seen you should leave by now.

Hmm... Apparently, it's against the rules to try to point out how the mentality of this site, has gone downhill.

SEN = Crap. The mentality here has fallen. Redo the site.
Your really just complaining about the site all the time. If you dont like it, leave. Is it you know alot of people or something? If so make your own forum and get people that you believe can moderate.
Dt's name is italized, I smell another locking

OTHER-SPECIFIC RULES AND REGULATIONS
Null
This is not a forum for spam or pointless topics. Forum games may only exist here if they can generate interesting developments. Whether this is so will be determined at the discression of a Moderator. If you want to talk about what you did with your teddy bear, or count to a thousand in posts, we don't want to hear it. Post relaxed discussions in Null, but not pointless or "joke" topics.
Lite Discussion
The name of this forum is misleading. Topics here should be constrained to fairly serious and involved discussion, but not so serious that it involves politics, etc. I don't want to hear about whether pepsi is better than coke or "who likes gummi bears" here. Such relaxed curiosity topics are for Null.
Serious Discussion
No tricks with this name. Discussion should be serious, about topics that have an impact at at least a national level. Replies to topics should be educated and thought-out. Unsupported statements of opinion and flaming posts are strictly not tolerated here. If you don't think you can control yourself to have an educated conversation, stay out of Serious Discussion.
Clan Forums
Clan Forums are still subject to punishment under the Rules and Terms of Service of Staredit Network. Posting spam or flaming in Clan Forums is just as punishable as posting it in a Main SEN Forum. Your clan's forum being hosted here is a privilege, and if your forum gets out of hand, it may be revoked.
STAREDIT NETWORK CONTENT POLICY
Yes, Starcraft is a Teen rated game. However, this does not mean I want to see objectionable material popping up on the forums. Overt sexual references, especially in images, even if not rated 'M', will not be tolerated. There is no reason to defile the professional image of this site with such unprofessional images.
"But Yoshi started the chick thread!"
I don't care. That was then, and this is now. I never supported that thread, and just because Yoshi got away with it then doesn't mean you can now.
MODERATORY COMPLAINTS
Now that you can see your own warn log, people are bound to start complaining about warns. Complaints must be registered in a mature and orderly fashion. Any whining or flaming a moderator will result in more warns, suspensions, and possibilities of referral for IP-Banning. In most cases, the decisions of our Staff will be upheld.
This IS pointless. Null doesn't have pointless threads besides forum games.
Look, there is no written code of law for a "spam thread". We don't say "Topic Locked because it violates SEN Law Section 51894 Chapter VI". We simply use common sense. Every moderator is different.
As a rule of thumb, if you're wondering whether it's a spammy thread, chances are it is.
Also, just because a topic is locked doesn't mean it is spam. Your popularity thread wasn't spam, we just don't allow popularity threads or popularity contest because they invite flaming. Now let this topic rest in peace.
Topic Locked
I really think there's a lot more to spam than whatever Revelade defines it as. He is simply defining his opinion on one type of spam.
