Staredit Network -> Modding Assistance -> WinMPQ Problem

I have tried and tried again , but I cant find the problem. I reinstall WinMPQ, delete it, Everything! but no avail. My WinMPQ seems to be corrupted.I make an MPQ, add my files - BUM - It says my GRP is corrupted. I remove it - BUM - my other one is corrupted. I remove that - BUM -, etc. any help would be paid in Minerals even

try reinstall VBR4 runtime , if even that same result then try use other MPQ applications like "Power MPQ" or etc...

Even then I cant add paths with Power MPQ. Re-naming everything is annoying

Make sure the VB4 runtime files and the Runtime files pack 3 are both installed.

In 99% of the cases when people can't get WinMPQ to work it's because the runtime files aren't installed correctly.

If that doesn't help, please provide more information about what's going wrong and what you're doing

Did you install the vb files and the runtimes into your windows?

then format ur local drive and reinstall ur Windows version

You are compressing with the right algrithm right? I know WinMPQ has two different compression settings and only one of them can be read by SC.

I think I compressed my other mod too many times. now whenever I open it it has auto-compress. Re-installing does nothing. the Same list stays there like it was never gone.

just reinstall windows and reinstall winmpq ...

if even then same result then i have no idea about ur problem....
