Comic books - Batman.
That's right, Batman. Has no mutant powers but can hold his own. A martial artist with the brains of a detective. A millionaire with the money to build himself body armor and more.
My favourite enemies of Batman are Joker and Scarecrow.
Joker, total psycho. That's what crime fighting is all about.
Scarecrow, a demented professor who went over the edge. Uses potions and chemicals to "enhance" the fear in people's minds.
Classic Console Games - Kefka(FF3/6). Hahah, this guy rocks!
Modern Console Games - as if I forget his name! The big buy from Soul Caliber 2. Uses the huge hammers and whatnot. Voldo is also pretty sweet.
PC Games - Amelyssan(Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal). She plays you right from the beginning, and turns out she's a priest of Bhaal, who will do anything to take the throne from the heir(you) and/or Bhaal, the God of Murder.
PC Games2 - Samir Duran(human and infested). Nuff said!

Spiderman was bitten and that gave him his powers, there was no freak accident, l have no idea where you would get that idea. Batman has no natural powers, only his high tech gadgets. If Batman and Superman would go one on one barefist, Superman would easily win.

But, c'mon, you're comparing a human with a non-human. Humans are naturally weak and slow, it's no compeition only BECAUSE Superman has a natural strength that was not granted to him through any skill or hardwork on his own part. It's like comparing a Zealot to a Zergling; the Zergling has no super-advanced technology, an un-fair advantage. Strip the Zealot down(which would be like turning Superman into a human) would allow the Zergling to pwnzor him,
And yes, you would require some kind of freak-accident for a spider-bite to give you super-human powers. Lots of people have been bit by spiders before, but they've never been granted wall-climbing abilities and super-human athletic capabilities.

As I said, it's only that when something makes 0 sense to me I get the urge to rant.
Otherwise I would have said you're stupid fo rthinking Spiderman's cool without mentioning Batman. Which I wouldn't do, because I understand that my thought processes are different fromyours(as is just about everyone's from everyone's) and it probably makes sense to you in some way that would make sense to me, if not on the most obvious level.
