I play melee once in a while just so that my SC skills won't suck.
It would just be really bad if you technically play SC for years but can't beat a random semi-SC enthusiast at melee.

I play UMS almost all the time, I melee, but I suck at melee. Unless theres a bunch of limiting factors in the game. (Like the bases only provide 1000 minerals, they have no vesphane, and they have no terrain shielding in the directions that matter. Then I get a little better for some reason.)

No one acctally cares about you records, its UMS thats fun these days. You have to own in them to be cool.
