I've been considering this for some time, maybe we could organize one and have some mineral prizes or something.
Or maybe like a 10 mineral buy-in, and X min cash-out, where X is the number of people playing multiplied by ten.
If anyone wants to, it sounds good to me.
If we have one, all are welcome to join, newer players and pros alike.

I sux, you claim you sux, we all may sux, but that's the best part, a tourny with 40 minute 1v1's that end up in mass carrier
But maps, I dunno. Depending on who...1: Cares 2: Wants to play, maybe there could be 3 games for each person:
1: one person chooses
2: other person chooses
3: LT, because the map is so popular you might as well play it.
Or maybe selections that both must agree on out of the PGT maps such as R-Point, Rush hour, Paranoid Android, Estrella, etc.
Or just 1 game, LT 1:1 tourny, dunno.
o0o! Why not make it on all user maps, so we get to try them out, see if they play good, see how players adapt, and soforth?

But there's like 18 maps and I really doubt we could use them all.
But really, since this is a tournament hosted by the melee members of SEN, I think we should use maps we made, not maps made by people from another site.

Maps used are somewhat balanced
Maps aren't LT, Luna etc. I want to play maps that are somewhat recent =P Grab maps from broodwarmaps.net, SENers go there aswell so we're staying in the same community.
Organization is somewhat acceptable. If you tell us all to meet in a channel, and I have to wait 10 minutes for a game, I'm leaving. Infact, it's probably better to get everyone to add eachother on AIM or something, so that people can play when they're available.
Suggestion: From the selection of maps, allow both players to choose 2 (more if there's many maps) maps they refuse to play. Then one player chooses the first map, second player chooses the next, loser of second round chooses the last.

Thank you. Even R point is a bit overplayed.
But sure im in, make it a weekend tourney, play games on weekends. Weekdays are hard for lotta people.
